    Why were you taking courses that you already understood?

    The course was probably a prerequisite; or a general ed requirement; or a core requirement for whatever degree op was getting. Pretty much to get credit toward that degree I suppose.

    This might help. 12 weeks unpaid maternity/paternity leave (no paid leave for either, typically) in the US.

    By contrast, in Finland, it is possible to have unpaid maternity/paternity leave until the child is 3 (and about 105 day paid maternity leave at 80% pay).

    Sweden is the best at 480 days paid maternity/paternity leave (390 days at 80% pay, 90 days flat rate).

    Well, there's also the problem that stupid little things (like pissing against a building, or taking naked photos of [i]yourself[/i] under 18) can earn you the "sex offender" label for life.

    It's more likely than you think. A 15 year old girl charged with "juvenile child pornography" for...... taking nude pictures of herself with her cell phone, and sending them to her classmates! Furthermore, those classmates may be charged with possession of child pornography, it probably won't matter if they solicited it or not.
