    These are showing up on several high end vehicles and even bycycles. If the CNC's become commercially viable it would be much cheaper to make monocoque chassis for a variety of vehicles.

    I do wish they'd play nice with each other and either work on a unified api or at least co-develop some means of easily porting software to either. :/ I do not have that skill set to even try and help.

    Is it possible to have an interface that allows QT apps to be compiled with GTK and vice versa or am I causing developers pain by asking that?

    Absolute garbage on Windows. They allegedly have drivers but there are reams of complaints. I can't find were someone replaced the electronics with just enough to run the motors and print head with a minimalist linux driver doing I think PCL. It was back when boards like the arduino mega were 2-300 bucks.

    BTW Samsung's ML-2510 toner makes a very good mask for metal etching including PC boards. It does however take some heat. I've used a hotplate to get brass hot enough and an thrift store 1950s era iron for PCBs they get MUCH hotter than the current ones. I recommend paint thinner to get that stuff off, it's adheres that well. The printer was $60 and I've etched about 30 pieces of brass for steampunk and a dozen or so PCBs and it still has a lot of toner left.

    That piss poor choice is why I've not purchased one. I left it to the community to spend their money figuring this out for me. I despise devices that require an NDA and if at all possible I will never buy a device with one.

    It used to take a socketed part, then it took a jumper or switch. I'd suggest going back to the jumper or switch. It's the simplest solution with the highest level of security.

    Not getting rid of the spam results and in many cases catering to the spammers.

    Pulling all reviews of everything and putting it on Gminus. I'm glad I'd deleted all of my review data.

    Making 'shopping' pay to place. Again I'm glad I'd pulled every review they could try and make money off of.

    Changing the way their system worked when it did well for the user. That more than anything was a slap in the face and showed that they do not care for their users, they care for their customers.

    Amazon's search is superior for products. Ebay's is weak and pathetic in many cases.

    The major problem with anything over 2.2 is 911 calling which is sporadic at best. If there were open hardware specs on the radio or S* would at least compile the driver for some flavor of ICS it would fix that issue.

    The Samscum Galaxy S aka Vibrant will not be getting support anytime soon as CM team never figured out how to get 911 working and samscum only supplies a binary blob driver. Samscum abandoned it when they decided it was too 'decrepit' to accept ICS when all they had to do was provide ICS without their crappy interface(s) like swype and the crapware they load on..

    The goal is to kill destructive varmints. If they happen to explode in a pink mist it means you most likely killed them and you have immediate visual evidence. .308 is fine for that if you pick the right loading. A light weigh hollow point bullet and loading suitable to the range and accuracy you require will work. It's not inappropriate but it is not the most effective. There are specialty rifles for long range varmint hunting in several calibers. A local gun store sells prairie dog rifles that are about 2" in diameter and 30" long, bolt action. I think it's .25-06 as they shoot at 600 yards. .308 will not perform as well at that range.

    Huh, they're getting to be as expensive as in-house development with just as sloppy code depending on which business you go to. There is also a substantial language barrier in some cases even though there are a lot who do speak English they do not comprehend some concepts. You then need a liaison who does and can translate your requests. That adds cost. We did find a very good software development company that is prompt, competent and who worked to understand our needs. We do save money but it's not nearly as much as it used to be. The costs won't go too high as India's success has several countries catching up to them.

    Having had to take a blizzard of pills if there's a way to shriek at me when I don't I'll gladly take it. I, all puffed up with hubris and invulnerability, would question an older pill popper as to why they could not remember to take their pill. Now that I am in that position and with an affliction that causes short term memory loss and other symptoms I know I need the nudge to do what is right. As long as there is no forced medication I'm cool with this. I am of the opinion that any system that forces medication or medical treatment should be met with enough force to stop it.

    I was. With the right behavior modification they will do ok. If there is some mental aberration in the kid then the parents would most likely already know and be doing what is responsible about it.

    Cops have been doing this for some time. There is always a section in any metropolitan police department that does such analysis. They are expected not to catch crooks but stop crime. Such analysis can be effectively used to position police departments in the right area to deter crime.

    It is also unfortunately used to move officers around to enhance traffic tickets by analyzing slumps in tickets they know when drivers have adapted and will move to fresh pickings.
