The high priests of the constitution say you're wrong. And the constitution says they can say you're wrong. The high priests always seem to say exactly what the politicians want when the politicians want to wipe their ass on the constitution. It could be they've wiped their ass on it often enough no one can read it anymore.
A friend has a Prius and he's put 90,000 miles in three years on it at mostly highway speeds. The fuel economy has been consistently what the manufacturer states. He does have to do routine maintenance on time or the manual states it will impact mpg. Having the wrong tire inflation can drop mileage 2-4mpg but it's easy to see. This can happen when the weather shifts from summer to winter.
I can't figure what the author hopes to achieve with his assertions other than a pile of cash from a lawsuit.
It's also rife with corruption both by the unions that plague them and by the appointed scum that run them.
One study looked at all of the costs associated with the bus system in Indianapolis and found that they could have bought every regular rider a car, fuel and insurance for 5 years and come out ahead even with projected accidents, car maintenance, etc. Irregular riders would be given coupons for taxis.
Hell *king no! We have a legacy app that will not run under XP period due to some bizarre memory management scheme. It will however run under dosbox. I have to support two other legacy apps that will only run under FreeDOS 1.0 running under VirtualBox set to be as braindead as possible. I will will evaluate 1.1 and see if it is more stable.
I don't have source code so can't even begin to port it to anything else and would not get the financing to do so if I had it.
I think they released this information to show that other offerings were bogus.
I've been interested in a solar cell that could run my phone in even very cloudy weather. I also wanted it to charge/run a radio, a flashlight and recharge some batteries though not all at once. It would cost between $200-$300US for one that can run and charge my phone or do any of the other individual tasks and be rugged enough for my needs.
That was an old meme which in essence states that you can never have truly unbreakable security. It is specific to electronic computing systems but it applies to anything you want to secure.
I believe someone from the NSA gave a presentation on how they never assume anything in any system is secure, that no one is trusted beyond the trust they need, etc.
It's: disconnect it from the net/phone wipe the harddrive cast it in concrete wire it with explosives bury it in a vault post armed guards outside then nuke it from orbit
They could not figure out how to convince your heart to terrify you into using the products of they ads they'd send to your heart so they're just going to let your heart wither and die all alone in the vastness of meat that is you.
I'd be willing to find out the unintended consequences of exterminating mosquitoes, fleas, deer flies, tsetse flies and other human parasites or disease transmitters.
My mother lived in a very rural area, she was a teenager during the depression. They'd give away the blood of slaughtered pigs to a black family who would make blood pudding and forcemeats and sell them to other black families. I've had it and unless it's done well it's very grainy. Forcemeats are better.
That link now has me musing on BBQ sauce with the blood of the animal I'm cooking in it.:-D
Unless you have a fusion reactor and can create or reorganize matter you have to kill or cause others to kill so you may live. Cherish your food, it died that you may live.
KDE was the first to drool the reduced feature mantra before guhnome. It appears however that guhnome has drank Jim's special krewl aid and are doomed.
Linux Mint is not as functional as many claim it is not as feature laden or stable as very old KDE or Gnome before the idiots took charge.
I will just run my current version until I have to find something that might work. I would not want to use an MS product unless the entire Linux phenomena continues to collapse from delusional developers.
I don't understand the abhorrent removal of features and configurability. Ubuntu went so far as to go to the source code of X and rip out some configuration options.
I am seriously interested in a DDR,2,3 ram controller that I can use as my primary drive. I've seen a few that will work with up to 32GB of DDR2 ram, have battery backup and have gotten good reviews. One has enough battery backup to flush the ram to flash memory on power fail which I like. Since WD and Seagate do not exceed industry service or competence they don't get my dollars I'll buy some other brand that has the same warranty and is cheaper as my bulk storage.
The last 2TB drive I purchased is a Hitachi. It has a one year warranty.
The 1TB before that is failing and doing so before the 3yr mark but it 'passes' WD test so it's 'perfect'. It is supposed to have a 5yr warranty but WD's warranty is a fraud anyway.
I believe there is a paper that describes how to trigger a self sustaining fusion reaction in Jupiter's atmosphere. I believe the paper was triggered by 2001 when it came out. I am an ineptly erased slate for anything I experienced prior to 2000 so...
I managed to get Eclipse to run on it and it's a huge load of java hog meat. Isn't freenet open source? You might pester them to either help fix openJDK or fix their software.
Energy companies are investing in the research into solar so they most likely would already own some patents. They will license patents from research groups as well. The nice thing about patents is they still expire but that may change in the near future to follow the path of copyright.
That would be the true evil but it takes government to do that.
You could release your own code under a different license and not use any open source that you could not get relicensed as closed.
My company had planned on leveraging a Linux distribution but they just did not want to weed out which license did what, what they were responsible for or to do.
I believe there is a scrubbed distribution that is a GPL, LGPL, public domain only but I never had a chance to look for it.
Even better set up something that will automatically configure my system with all the debugging tools. Give me scripts that allow me to easily compile and run older versions to find where a regression occurs.
Unscrew gdb so I don't have to know arcane crap just to get it to give the backtrace you need.
Once I have that and some minimal instructions on how to generate the reports I will.
Don't have a pissy fit when I ask you how to do stuff that you need done.
Interesting idea. I really don't use all that much in the stove as it doesn't take that much to offset the heating bill. Most of the stuff is gunk that it's just not right to burn so it's recycled or landfiller.
News with editorial spin along the lines of "OH NOE we can't have MORE budget X the market she will DIE!"
If I wanted spews I'd go to Betaspews rather than have to step over the poodle puddles.
If Apple does sue Vizio it's publicity when they will really need it.

Socialism solves that problem nicely. Dead people don't eat.
We have nascent socialist governments that will take care of that and they do so more efficiently and with less suffering.
I'd be willing to find out the unintended consequences of exterminating mosquitoes, fleas, deer flies, tsetse flies and other human parasites or disease transmitters.
Because it's tasty and nutritious?

They should tag the meat with femtotags that saturate the meat or just force a DNA test of all death row inmates.

There are not enough dictators left in Asia to keep the yellow man down. It's terrifying. Why hasn't the CIA made more they have the technology!

GPL allows profit but the profiteer needs to provide the source code of what they're profiting from.
I would rather see any other license than a 'no commercial use' type license. It's disgustingly restrictive.
I registered a domain with them for 10 years. Pretty cheap and they don't swat me for camping on it.
I've used Dyndns for a long time and I just paid them for the pro version for a year.
