Tell me what college will not accept any federal funds nor will it accept any student with federal funds attached?

What was the ruling on them not obeying Federal mandates (cumdates?).

They have very few rights when accepting Fed monies. What exists is a patchwork of fed laws and court rulings but in the end preserving security is the governments right regardless of how inebriated, insane and chemically altered it is.

Capitalist flight is good for the POOR! Capitalist flight from California means other poor states and some countries will have jobs while California rots. We've seen several either move to other states or other countries. Capitalist flight from the US means more poor foreigners will have jobs while the US rots. Driving out businesses with confiscatory taxes is a good thing as it will teach US not to do that or we get to smell the rotting poorer. I suppose we can warehouse them again but I hope that the architecture won't be so vile.

I moved wholly to a Linux based operating system. Granted that has not been all sweetness and light with the current de-feature- it meme but it's been stable and I can watch movies mostly. No games though. I'd have to buy Win7 for games or actually go out somewhere and play a board or card game.

It randomly displays pictures from the file server or if I push the porn button (the P key) it surfs the web and displays...things. The other stink pad with the CD and the P133 is used by a friends kid for dos games using dosbox and a stripped down redhat distribution. Seven power supplies are being used for testing, lighting, replacement wall warts, etc. Don't talk to me about get rid of. Sheesh. I'd mandate that any manufacturer be forced to allow a device to be re-purposed and that they have to store every datasheet for 100yrs or fund a datasheet library. If it took excluding them from liability I'd be inclined to grant it.

I'm not sure they can add it all back if the trend at creating pablum for the masses continues and the features are not just ripped out but actively prevented from being added back in easily.

I've found the longest life to be to use very high quality lights intended for stage use and not turn them fully off and if possible not turn them fully on. I like neon but it would not have worked for what I was doing and CCFLs that can be dimmed are too slow. I looked for and saw some mention of CCFLs that can be switched on/off rapidly but don't see them being sold.

I now know there are CCFLs meant to be switched on and off for signs but don't know the cost or how much of switching they can take.

Incandescents won't do that as badly but you should still use DC and a PWM driven circuit to ramp up and down while leaving the filament with some current to keep it warm but not producing light.
