You don't /mix/ the primer and glue! The primer is a alchohol-based cleaning compound! If you don't wait until it dries, the joint won't bond. ".. and then you slide the parts together and hold on for dear life." Hell yes! He mixed the glue and primer: "Pal, you're going to be holding that for a loooong time.." Oh, and I /do/ work with Sch 40; think 200 psi pressure lines. Don't mix the primer, man. It ain't purty.

There are many simple solutions to common annoyances:

-Popups: Disable the "onPageLoad" event coupled with "window.new()"

    -Unclosable popups: Disable hidable-windows.

-Bandwidth eating ads (flash, banner, etc): Include the option to disable content from certain sites.

I have never seen any of the above implemented. The last one is something you could get sued over..

    Ah! Somone understands.

I use the "trial" version of Winzip (You've been using this for 683 days! This isn't free!) and since I *never* compress and I only uncompress when I download a new Quake/HL mod, its no biggie which utility I use.

I think this entire thing is getting blown *way* out of perspective. At risk of being repetetetive and a noing:

Who gives a crap about zip encryption?

but thats just my nasty side talking. There's probably a way to resolve RIAA nastyness..

  8. Old news-better machines around on Chicken Run · · Score: 1

I am a chicken farmer (or "Poultry Producer", if you prefer) on the eastren shore. I grow for perdue.

We usually machine-catch the chickens, but there are some points to be made about this article:

-The reason we like machines better: Cheaper, faster, and machines don't wrap their crap up in paper and leave it around. (Hand catchers do)

-We don't work in the dark. We use red or blue lights.

-A CHICKEN VACCUM?? I have never heard of this. Personally, I think this is a fabrication: how do you keep from sucking up manure (or "litter", as its usually called) with the chicken.

-The machines used aren't these huge Beasts. We use converted John Deers that have revolving rubber-finger-drums. The chickens are kept in a small bay in the back, then dumped into a "packing machine", which puts the chickens into cages for transportation. There are usually 2 catching machines a house, and 1 packer.

Oh, and while we're talking about chickens-PETA would have you believe we make the chickens sit on the ground, in their own crap. We do! And, contrary to urban myths, modern chickens don't really like straw. And they don't like to roost. They like to wallow in their crap.

There, I've finished with my rant/correction. I will probably get flamed by people who accuse me of all sorts of things, but WTH, I've said my piece.

Ok,let's start at the beginning. Communism is supposed to benefit everyone, based on the humanist thinking that man is inherently good. Which he is not. He is instinctivily evil. Since the "Big Dawgs" are rather corrupt, the average chinese "Joe" didn't use to have much freedom. And still doesn't. And then computers came along. And the internet. And everyone can get online at their local internet cafe. And "Joe" goes to an internet cafe and is like, "Yo! I'm online!". And joe starts getting..ideas..which his goverment doesn't want him to have. So the goverment shuts down internet cafes. A lot of internet cafes. And the computers that are around, the gov puts Linux on. They know whats in linux. So this doesn't exactly make bill gates happy. So he gives them the source code to windows. So they know whats in it, and can modify it. So now they're using windows. Don't believe me? Go look it up. And here we have the chinese undermining google. With their own search engine. Reducing freedom even farther. I think its cool to be an american.
