Well the inherent problem with auto updating IE is its tight intergration into the OS. Were IE more like a regular browser the mechanisims would be different for doing updates. While Windows Update service isn't perfect I wouldn't say Firefox auto update is either. You can choose not to auto update if you wish. So which is worse, choosing to update or to not update?

Kinda curious as to what the ratio is for mass:volume for liquid helium and vaporized helium? ie if you have one liter of liquid helium if that were to turn to gas what is the volume then? You'd tend to think the'd have come up with that and figured out how much pressure would be in the lines so those relief valves could handle it.

Not all of them were unskilled workers. Probably a very minimal amount of guys were skilled. Lots of those guys had no clue how to weld or what not and were trained by the skilled workers. Guys that had could be trained as welders became welders, guys that could be trained to drive trucks, became truck drivers....etc. The same could be applied here. The guys willing to do more hazardous(high steel work/working with explosives) work got better pay. The guys doing inspections and the engineers(structural and design) are the ones that make sure a bridge/damn/road are safe, and obviously require a formal education before doing that job. Take a look at the Brooklyn Bridge/Hoover Damn projects. Built by thousands of workers, run efficiently by a small group of skilled supervisors/inspectors/managers/engineers. The same thing can be done again....people that are out of work but want a "great" job just need to come to the realization that they just need a job.

True, and I was just posing a reasonable explanation of why the student was suspended. Obviously the student and parents appealled the suspension to the school board and that was taken before a judge. Judges don't make laws, that's what legislators do. Judges interpret laws and apply them. Did this judge mis-interpret the law? A very distinct possibility, so they need to appeall that as well, which sounds like they will. All I was saying is that if the student had taken the time to post a more intelligent and less defamatory paradoy it would have probably gone under the radar of the school and the kid wouldn't have been suspended.

  17. Re:This is actually quite educational on Judge Munley is So Out of My Top 8 · · Score: 3, Informative

Well I think the lewdness of the libelous statements is probably what got the student suspended. If they had said something along the lines that he is an ineffective principal that seems to spend more time corousing with students, in what could be considered inappropriate ways, than supervising the staff and students activities...etc, the student would probably have been taken more seriously and asked about what they meant. But no she look the low road and now they are paying the price for it.
