    While the plot (and especially dialog) of the movie was pretty poor, the visuals were absolutely awesome.

    And with CG content being standard these days, if the plot sux and the visuals are "average" by today's technology and such, what then makes this movie worth seeing? And, are there any parallels between eye candy and heroin?

    But what about those who are just venturing into the Linux world and are just getting thier feet wet. There are a lot of those and they don't understand it all yet.

Good grief.

    For business related death I have prepared extensive documentation on servers, passwords, accounts, banking relationships, etc. and have filed that in my bank lock-box.

    This will really do your employer good. Not. It's not like anyone but you can go down to your safe-deposit box and grab all this stuff... They'll have to wait until probate!

    Revenue is what you take in. Income is what you keep. (AKA profit) Gives you a clue as to what their markup is (:-0)

    I am no friend of Microsoft, but... You are saying a 100% mark-up for software is bad. Just because a company's numbers are in the billions does not nessesarily mean they no longer have a right to make money on their profit? And considering that the basic materials for a software product are cheap, and that the basic technology for Windows and Office has already been developed, I'm surprised the ratio isn't higher. We live in a capitalist world where you are allowed to squeeze as much as the market will bare. And, there is a realistic alternative, it's called Linux. And the desktop is just fine.

    if the wire protocol is open wouldn't it be easier for RIAA/MPAA/USGOV/ISPs to look at the data and block certain traffic/file names to "cover their own ass" or have evidence to prosecute you?
