They've taken away the right for you to be a complete idiot and still claim membership in the GOP (exception: if you are in office already, they'll wait till your term is done). Looks like you are screwed.
No, it was more like addresses and/or personal accounts they may know of. It had nothing to do with what you bought, rather with what info you gave them.
Considering some of these companies sold out (well, not for money) all your information to the government back when the Patriot Act got passed, you really are behind on the times in terms of whining about their invasion of your privacy.
I actually think it is something along the lines of the free 400 points you start out with in the SAT, GRE, etc...aka, as long as you know to put your name down, you get credit for doing something haha.
I used to get that problem multiple times daily in Firebird, but lately I've only seen it about once a month. The fact that you got it on multiple reloads is actually uncommon...usually it fixes itself after one or two.
I believe they've acknowledge how crappy a problem it is...I don't know where they are in terms of fixing it (over the holidays a bunch of problems came up and they had to start up fixing stuff immediately when they got back).
To paraphrase one of the Gamespot editors, buying this game will only encourage this company to make more bad games. While you won't buy another crappy game from them after the first instance of screwing you over (Big Rigs), other people will...and it will only encourage them to keep this cycle of producing shit games as many times as possible to see how many suckers they can bring in.
Yes, it looks hilarious...but you'll get over that quick.
The video review of it beats the written review. While words explain what is wrong with this game, watching the video makes it clear just how bad this game really is. Driving through bridges and coming back up the other side...infinity accelerating only to stop on a dime...driving straight up mountains to end up out of the map where your car basically gets stuck doing strange break dancing like moves...
To the maker of this thread: This is quite simply the worst game ever. They will not patch or fix this; it isn't in their interest to do it. As the Gamespot editors have said, while it may be tempting to buy this game for its "entertainment" (read: hilarious) value, actually purchasing it only encourages companies like this to screw over consumers with bad games again. It isn't worth it.
I've got to say using the Impact Hammer in the original UT was quite easily the most fun possible. Sure, anyone with a weapon can own you...but when you take out someone, EVERYBODY knows it:D.
You are innocent till proven guilty. However, if they can prove you've already broken the law and you cannot prove yourself innocent, guess what the conclusion is...
To me, it seems like the stores in your area must've seen bad GC sales the rest of the year prior to Christmas, or else they should've had some idea on what they needed to keep around for restocking the shelves.
It seems like, instead, they kept little around to fill the shelves because they probably weren't selling much of it before the holiday season.
Normally they'd bring in a lot more product for the holidays...if they are running out of it completely, they are either seeing a HUGE boost (not likely that it was THAT big of a boost) or thye saw horrible numbers for most of the year prior to that holiday season.
of course, analysts don't really care about market share won by severely cutting prices. particularly if the increased market share doesn't result in significantly increased software sales.
The only two things that matter:
1. Sales of games goes up to match increased console sales (as you say, that pretty much hasn't been the case:/ )
2. Losing money on each console sold does not make selling a whole lot more of them necessarily great. To counter this, you need...ta da, software sales!
Sorry buddy, but you'll have to learn that it isn't Nintendo's responsibility to prove you wrong. It is up to you to prove yourself correct. "Prove me wrong" in terms of law will get you nowhere.
Perhaps this is a sign to Sony that the next console should be less complicated with its graphics. The Xbox is probably easy enough consider its DirectX basis and the Gamecube architecture uses one graphics chip rather than a convoluted parallized two chip system.
While the PS 2 may have a powerful, robust graphics core because of this design, as has been pointed out: Does every company have the time to make use of the specifics, or are they going to do the least amount of work possible when porting to make a game playable and not horrendous looking?
If cross-platform gaming continues to become a huge trend, it would be in Sony's best interest to try and simplify some parts of its graphics to make the best parts of it more accessible to developers that perhaps don't have all the time they need to port the game as well as they should.
In the meantime, though, Sony has a large amount of exclusive content...so they shouldn't be too worried about whether or not they are getting optimization for cross-platform games. People are sure to still buy them but they most likely will definitely pay attention to kick ass exclusive games for being even better.
(PS-If that sounded like complete crap, eh, oh well:/ )
Typically you have a deadline sometime in the early evening for the next day's paper. I'm going to assume he didn't have the time to try and get permission by email before the article was due at the editor's desk. Furthermore, for all we know, the editor may have changed it to say this.
Sure, he could've but it a better way...but the way it is now sure as hell is not as insulting to PA as you put it.
I think the reason he says Unidentified is that he probably didn't have explicit permission at the time of writing the article to use the names. He probably hadn't contacted PA to ask.

The only way they could be any closer was if they touched.
Oh...wait, they do...

LOL, using a reader review...priceless :p
Well, atleast in the Gamespot forums, it already is the biggest thing around...

Gamespot gives a 1 on all categories automatically.

In Gamespot's usual lingo: Don't play this game!

Ah, so you were one of the bigger smacktards in that game :p
Only time I've enjoyed TKing is when someone is doing it to me...I'll spend the rest of the game harassing that person.
is that XMP didn't come out with the game as it was supposed to.
Read the damn parent of the post before modding it off-topic...I just knew that was gonna happen :|
Yeah, that's a much better tale that proves a point.
This could be a bad presumption though...

...that Nintendo has absolutely no method with which families seperated by miles can play against each other with!
Why oh why...just give us online Nintendo!
but it would be a fitting idea...

Something about journalism for you:
