  2. Book by Einstein for non-techies on Physics Books for the Novice? · · Score: 1

short review from a web site:

Albert Einstein and Leopold Infeld. The Evolution of Physics: The Growth of Ideas from Early Concepts to Relativity and Quanta. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1938. A very readable yet often overlooked nontechnical summary of the physics and its origins.

I have this book, which describes complicated physics with simple metaphors. Plus, it's by the man himself!!

  3. Publicize the loss of data now on Making Users Back Up Important Data? · · Score: 1

Make sure everyone knows that the data has been lost and that it was preventable. Once our salesstaff realized that one guy had lost all his contact info and presentations they were much more interested in backing up their own.

  5. Citrix has few features over terminal services on Thin Clients in a Computer Lab Environment? · · Score: 1

Since you already have to buy a terminal services license to use citrix the question should be if citrix offers any advantage. We use both for our remote locations and they both work about as well. The real advantage is not having to build multiple machines. Oh, citrix does have a web interface I think.

  6. what about valleys or deep apartments on Auto-Suicide for Grey Market Electronics? · · Score: 1

There may be cases if this is implemented where you are in a legal area but the chip can't receive a signal. They would have to come up with a workaround.

  7. I just went through life insurance screening on UK Insurance Co. Admits Using Genetic Screening · · Score: 1

What really bugged me is that they wouldn't tell me what they would test for. They took blood and urine samples from me and my wife, and then came back for more urine samples (on consecutive days) from me. The people sent to get the samples simply said that maybe there was some sugar or protein in the urine the first time, not to worry, it happens all the time.

  9. Why not take the coworkers with you? on Where Should Company Loyalty End? · · Score: 1

If you are as skilled as you put forth, and are working in companies of this small size, could it be possible to take the co-workers with you, by forming a consulting group perhaps? I'd say the lot of you should try to buy the company from your management, but that's more unlikely to happen.
