    our beloved earth is a molten rock with a cool crust hurling through space while rotating around a radioactive sun spewing out toxic gamma rays not to mention other kinds of rays coming from deep space and circling around in a galaxy that we know just about nothing of how it works or why it works and on and on and on in our ignorance...
    But I've never heard some scientist say that the gloabl warming of the earth is coming from its molten center and that global heating could be because the core of the earth is getting hotter.

    for each number or personal information stolen from the company holding said information, force said company to make a payment of $10,000 on the card holders credit account and hold the responsible to back up any theft or loss due to lost information. This would tighten up information policies in all companies and this private information will be considered as precious and sacred item that it is.
    This would be controlling wanton capitalism and global companies and force them to be responsible and accountable.

    Figuring out how to control huge companies without bankrupting them, should be the platform of one of the political parties. Or at least there should be two positions upon it pronounced by the the two major political parties.

    We need a law which would heavily fine and imprison the CEO of any company that lost costumer data. With this over there heads you could be sure that all security measures would be taken regarding our information. The fine would go the individual whose information was lost or transferred or whatever without their approval.

    There must come a time when we start to understand that any kind of personal information first belongs to the person from which it is derived. It is similar to personal property. And this kind of property must not be available for sale nor may the individual give up his right on this property.

    This kind of law would make storing information on people more of a risk for the info gatherers.

    1984 is on the way a bit late but coming so please, let's do somethings to stop it.

    The human organism as it is today is suited for life on earth and if we want to go into space, we must create another life form capable of holding our intelligence or more and also able to support the new environment's conditions. Genetic studies are not at this point yet but maybe someday will be; I imagine their must be some secret lab working on this already. What would the organic form that would naturally survive on the moon or Mars? Already just imagining the life form is not that easy but remember nothing is impossible given the means and the time.

    I don't have a land phone line so I have an mobile phone with a gprs-110Kbits/sec or gsm-10Kbits/sec(this is the french acronym) modem to connect to the network and am getting an unlimited service to the internet ports http, https, stmp, pop , imap, ftp no ssh or telnet or other service ports also included is 120 hours of wifi access at their sponsored hotspots(and some of them don't work and they are few and far between). I hardly ever use the wifi offer except when I need to get onto the database. This option to my account costs me 120 euros a month (ouch that hurts mister). And now they are offering a third generation protocol gprs2-380Kbits/sec with a nifty pcmia card at 90 euros a month for only 24 hours of connection time included and normally I can get onto a database with this new protocol! (more pain for more speed!). I live in France and I feel that I am getting hosed and I really want that new formule but only 24 hours just doesn't do it. Bend over and branch that cable and forget about your behind! bro telco has it in hand ready to give your the royal service anywhere you have a mobile telephone signal. Who are they trying to kid only businesses and people like me without a fixed phone or home are going to spit out cash like that for this service.
    With this third generation protocol they are advertising the video phone call but they just don't mention the prices on the television ad.

    Don't ever say it is ugly what you are doing but keep going until you are satisfied. That means a lot of versions.
    Just keep going until you find something that makes you really happy and you are proud of. Then show that to a couple of people to get their opinions. If nobody likes it than try again
    to find another version or drop it completely and start a new one. If I told you I have paintings that have taken years to finish, then you get the idea. Art is not a product, art is a passion like programming which I do as well. With programming though you never see the artwork if it is well done, no bugs and good functionality. To you notepad and scanner or your ecran and file full of your searching.

    Why doesn't icann just make a top level domain with the name of .spam. And any body doing spam be required to use it and if not, block their sending domain on the DNS servers and then, the filtering will be easy for anyone who doesn't want to have spam. Just block dotspam.

    Spammers can offer mail accounts on spam channels so those who want spam can get spam accounts on different spam channels. Remember there are those who have eaten spam and liked it. Personally I know of no one who has had this experience but such a person might exist.

    We could have car.spam for those who like cars.spam or microsoft .spam for those who like ms. or linux.spam for those who like penguins etc, etc.

    It seems so simple has anyone suggested this already.

    I didn't see any concern about
    using resource properly.
    On servers running hundreds, thousands of clients
    this can quicly becomes a problem.

    Here in France we had the ticket reservcation
    system crash last thursday July 16 on Friday morning
    when everyone wanted to go on vacations, the tickect agents
    couldn't sell tickets as the computer system was broken. They
    use Microsoft and it seems they were updating the software and
    it all fell down like a house of cards, so they sent all the kings
    men to fix it and by Monday, they had suceeded in getting
    previous version.

    is not economics. The act of physical war has become too dangerous and efficient;
    our weaponary has become too powerful.

    1. Dead people make bad consumers.
    2. Unjust wars and invasions are bad publicity and generate bad will.
    3. World domination has never worked; no matter how big the stick.

    A uninhabitable earth will force human kind to find another
    planet for continuing the human experience or face extinction.

    Our future is as small groups of humans or human-like entities(intelligent
    beings genetically enginered for life in space) roaming the universe in search
    of an inhabitable planet while the more fortunate of us live in geodomes
    waiting for the next galaxy taxi to take us to our next earth.

    Of course, once found, the inhabitable planet will need to conquered and
    dominated first! United States of The Universe! USA/USW/USU.
