an extra few cents is hardly worth bitchen about.. i mean honestly how many CD's do you purchase. im sure i got my moneys worth just copying a couple things for my sister. not to mention all the great canadian music on cbc's pod cast.
The hospital should also be held responsible for its security weaknesses. When you set up a server to deal with visa or master card numbers, there is a large list of requirements. These include not having the machine directly accessible from the Internet, it needs to be locked down physically, with unique logins for each user, and a camera ensuring its physically safe. Each computer on the network needs to be firewalled, as is the server which must have incoming and outgoing traffic firewalled. Now if a hospital cant meet basic security needs, im sure the attacker did not target a hospital, its negligence for them to have a catastrophic failure. This is like, say, not buckling up a child and getting hit by a drunk driver. Obviously the driver is at fault, but so is the parent.
ps microsoft sucks, they should have used linux.
in my opinion, home users should be the target of hardware manufacture supported linux. I dont realy care about the average user, i have little incommon with them, accept perhaps games, p2p, msn and internet. And games is the only that would realy benifit from wider use.
Printing out of home, seems to me to be cheaper/better quality and easyer.
I heard something fitting this description in a tokyo mall not to long ago, it was annoying as hell, and it did make we want to leave. I it would be useful if you where to turn it on, when their is a problem, and have security manage it.
I dont think Wal-Mart employees is the skilled labour we where looking for.
as far as socialism is concerned, when other people are happy I'm happy, I'm willing to sacrifice a little extra for that.
I'm pritty sure I seen these no flush toilets in narita airport. They worked fine. Their argument about not being able to clean the inside is bull, because it seems like they could easly modify the design so it could flush for cleaning.
This is just like when the milk delivery men protested fridges.
I got tinnitus after going to a bar, and driving around with freind. I still have it, that was three years ago. It sucked when I first got it, but I'm used too it now.
Its simple realy, the more people that use open source solutions, the less of a monopaly microsoft can force on us. If everyone used OpenOffice or Linux the world would be a better place. Companys would be more motivated to develop for it, and open source projects truely have the interest of the consumer in mind. More firefox converts = power to open source.
"For me, asking why I play a MU (multi-user text game) when I could play EverQuest is like asking someone why they would read a book instead of watching the movie of the same story..."
That doesnt make sence, since movies aren't 20-30 hours long. Unless you play a MU ten times more then a EQ player, a likely impossible feat, The only reason to stick too a mu is the community and fear of change and perhaps gameplay(point and click aint all its cracked up to be).
The MPAA is only destroy it's self with these law suits. File sharers are like virus' if that take out the current generation, it'll only result in a resistant second generation, and basic freedoms are broken, it will be unstopable. I see programs similar to waste causeing the movie industry far more destress then is currently seen with bittorrent. The more trackers and people like me, are attacked the motivated they will be to make such a program.
thats my cpu, it works great on standerd socket a mobos. though my motherboard doesnt support voltage lower then 1.55v and i think the processor is supposed to default to 1.45v, but all the more power to overclock with.
Most game consoles take a loss on the hardware and make up the difference in the software. Perhaps(though less likely) Linksys routers do the same with there wireless nics.
no not that there say it, saying "I don't" in response to where you like the game, and stating balance issues, that are never intended to be final in beta as your reason. Blizzard allways messes with stuff drasticaly during its betas. To try struff out.
Considering that the game is still in beta, I say you sinergy, must be a moron.
I think a better question is, how could the game be better? For me, click and destroy gameplay is vary tired. Any game based on a reward system that has little to do with reflexes must be based on intellagent choices, not simply doing what I am told. Given the same amount of hours I should have a stronger charator then an eleven year old kid. Otherwise my charactor is completely devalued. I'm sure WoW has allot of inovative variations on the style, but still, I think I would loose interest in the game within a month.
