    If its selling online, then its still selling. Regardless if it replaces cd sales or not is irrelevent, its whether the over all sales are up or not which is important.

    Slashdot is simply reposting someone's opinion... if someone emails you an opinion, and you repost it, you are saying you agree with that person's opinion. And you are giving them a chance to publicize their own words. Which is important because the average blogger spins everything they post.

    On my beige G3 I popped out the chip and put in a 3rd party one just fine.

    The problem with many WIN users who critize Apple is that most of them have never attempted to do what they are complaining about... Who cares if the upgrade is offered by Apple. Dell, Gateway and a bunch offer the same limited upgrade options.

    And nice Straw Man-like fallicy of ignoring the superstar of the announcement -a new intel based desktop computer configured for easy use of enternament media. If all you heard was a leather case then then you are the one with a problem, not Apple.

    All these dumb media outlests that dont understand what they are reporting. None of these latest attempts at the Apple OS security are a major threat. People are just envious of Apples current fan fare. I am surprise the article didnt predict Apple going out of business like they have for the last 20 years.

    Require age & digital signature. Separate the under 18 results from the over 18. Allow under 18 users to opt in to the over 18 but no optin to under 18 for over 18 users. Or in other words dis allow viewing of under 18 users buy over 18 users unless the under 18 user mannually opts in.

    When the under 18 user signs up, they get the warning text about sexual predators. For those who are already signed up, send an email.

    I cant believe, even though there is no proof MySPace had anything to do with a crime, that this happeniong and people are making such a big deal.

    As an over 18 person, I would PREFER to have under 18 online users blocked from my blogs and networking accounts. And myself, blocked from theirs.

    Wow! You are uninformed. Christians dont disagree with that.

    In case you missed this:
    "Pope Benedict says science and religion are not opposed to each other and Christians should not be afraid to try to understand how they compliment each other in explaining the mystery of life on Earth, according to the Vatican's doctrinal department."

    You might not be aware but the Catholic church uses science to prove/disprove its miracles, and has been the major proponent of scientific discovery in the renasiance period, hundreds of years ago. Catholics were the first to institutionalize science.

    Dont be a hater.

    But some how you Evolution nuts discard human observation of God by billions of people over 1000s of years.

    Not to mention the core concepts* of evolutionary creation can neither be observed nor recreated in the lab.

    - life spontaneously coming to be from previously nonliving material
    - a single cell evolving into a complex creature like a human
    - species change from one form to another (ie reptile to mammel)

    And, fossils considered early humans have been proved to be not directly related to modern man.

    Atheism is as much as a leap of faith as beliving in God, smarty pants. You can't prove with science God doesnt exist.

    Evolution (as the creation of life) is also a leap of faith. Science has yet to prove:
    - Life can be created from a 'soup of chemicals and substances that were never alive before.
    - a single cell "creature" can evolve into a multi-organed creature
    - that a species can evolve from one species to another

    Not to mention that all the known human fossils are considered "on a different branch" of evolution to the point the neanderthal fossils are not close enough gentically to be considered on the same gentic path as modern man. Nevertheless, here is absolutely no proof that the fossils are actually related. Most of our data is visual observation, not chemical or genetic observation.

    There is a long way to go before Evolution (as creation) is proved.

    Maybe you need to learn about the Scientific Method.
