Its just lack of popularity of OS X among these worm/virus writing lamers. Yep. I think I implied that with the "envitable" comment. I have also said twice before I was joking. Sorry. I hope the Linux users dont have you too riled.

  7. Foresight vs Response on Zotob Worm Hits CNN and Goes Global · · Score: 1

No argument here. But we were talking about a virus. Apple is not releasing patches because it has been attacked, but rather because they (or someone) are testing and debugging their own work. It's quite a differnt circumstance than running around the planet trying to reboot crashed machines or prevent an immediate threat from crashing your machines. Are Apples perfect, of course not. It was just a joke... Someday someone will feel the need to write an Apple virus. Its envitable.

As for the comparision to Columbus, note it was the spaniards that brough the deadly viruses to the the new world* - Just like Windows. *Including syphillis. Apple is a HARDWARE vendor. Its as if Dell and Microsoft were one company. Apple is not making all this money selling iTunes software, its selling iPods, hardware. The software is the gimmee to buy the hardware. Its mostly free.

Porting the OS to PC for cloning would wreck Apple. As it was wrecking Apple in the mid 90s.

These fools keep trying to sell the business model of 1980. Its 2005! Its been 25 years. Come up with a new freakin idea. The only reason why it worked for MS is they got in first. Look around, is selling an OS helping any other company to surpass Microsoft? And if this plan is so great, how come MS hasn't ported itself to work on Apple hardware?

I disagree. Ears are the tool that listen to and translate the music to useful information to the brain.

A wifi card is the ear that listens to the signal and translates if into to useful information to the brain.

Is it stealing to listen to someone else's copyrighted music? Not that I know of.

A wifi signal floating through the air is no differnt than a sound wave floating through the air.

If the user doesnt want you to listen to the music, they can close the window or takes some means to protect it. Same with a wifi signal.

Otherwise, I can claim that you are stealing my bandwith by replying to my comments and clogging up the email pipes and my harddisk.
