I used to demo it regularly running GL teapot and about 6 movies, 12 mp3's, and another mp3 running backwards, and a couple little game/demo apps going. Dual p333 system.

Most of us uber BeOS geeks had dual CPU systems because BeOS took advantage of them so well. The entire OS was geared towards multimedia and user responsiveness. Even with all those things going on, when you clicked on a menu button, the menu would pop right up. No delay, even with all those other apps going. If you don't believe it, just find a copy of the free personal edition R5 demo.

If the cat5 is ever unplugged from the mug (maybe after a few beers) you have an unmarked cat5 with some voltage that you might accidently plug into some other device, like your computer or laptop. Then the magic blue smoke appears....

A union. Great. Then we can be paid and promoted not for our skill, but for our seniority. What every geek dreams of. We can make more money, which we can then turn over in union dues. We can be out of work for unknown streaches of time when other union members get pissed off and decide to strike. Tempting,... but, ah..... NO THANKS!

The Aqua interface is *the* significant chunk. Without it, you might as well just install FreeBSD or OpenBSD. The reason OSX is cool is that it finally puts a nice GUI on a *nix. Without the GUI, it's just another *nix and we already have plenty that run fine on cheap x86 hardware, thank you very much.
