    They didn't state nuclear power is horrible. They showed whoever is in charge of planning security at the plant needs to be bitch slapped.

    1-year owner satisfaction surveys don't mean much to me. I want to know how reliable the car is going to be 5 years down the road. Ford doesn't have much of a record for long term reliability.

    No, freezing was a problem with a beta Palm virtual keyboard in WebOS 2.0 for the Pre2, which was not enabled in the release versions of 2.0 (because it was broke) but homebrewers figured out how to enable. Not a problem in the original homebrew virtual keyboard of the Pre-/+ (maxed at 1.4.5) that I'm talking about.

    Amazon's S3/AWS services can have apps compatible with HIPAA/PCI if the application writer wants to go through the effort, so yes, they do have that much control.

    I'll remind you of the ~$30 Billion a year the NIH spends for researchers on their own D.C. area campus and at universities around the nation to do medical research. Those folks aren't hiding cures.

    I work at a major hospital. Remote software commonly used for remote troubleshooting fires off quite regularly. I expect every workstation in the place has screen-shots taken. It's not an hour of video, but probably because that would be too expensive.

    We spend more on defence then the rest of the world combined. The cuts that could come from the military make the EPA budget look like loose change found under the sofa cushions. There are lots of cuts that could be made, but throwing away the EPA entirely is a dumb one.

    He wants to get rid of the EPA, saying companies will respect the environment because there's money to be made doing it, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

    Most Ron Paul supporters are kids who've never heard of Love Canal, and don't know what a SuperFund Site is.

    They'll even ignore the recent blatant example where BP ignored chunks of the blowout protector coming up in chunks because it would cost them money to stop and put a new one in. That certainly ended well. He's either a nut or stupid, and I vote nut. Your Mr. AC, I think are on the other end of those options.

    I once, swear to god, was passed on the highway by a guy playing a clarinet while driving. Freaked me out. And I'm a driver who is usually going faster than most folks, so he was hauling. There are some nutters out there. I'm sure he'll end up killing someone.

    You are young. I can tell.

    Before 9/11, of anyone took over a plane, the major thought was "oh, this is going to be inconvenient, being delayed while we fly to Cuba". Airplane hijackings, with a few notable exceptions, almost always ended peacefully. No one fought back because they assumed from past episodes that the only likely issue they would have was loss of a day of travel time. Hell, Sinfield even had an episode where it happened to Elaine. No one thought to endanger themselves because they didn't think they were in any real danger to begin with. Only the folks on the 4th plane were informed that things had changed and they were in actual danger.

    If the bad cops were the small minority, the good cops would be turning them in, no looking the other way or covering for them. Almost never happens. There's a reason. There are freaking few 'good' cops.
