Almost exactly correct... if you're throwing that much money for a high-end system, the last thing you want is to run around stores trying to find good/compatible RAM (or wait for it to ship) and then mess with the case. Not to mention the Radeon, which was mid-range two years ago.

So, what does the Gay Rights Bill have to do with promoting diversity and better relations inside the company? They can just (better) enforce their non-discrimination policy, which I'm sure they have.
Blaha blah blah, something like this showed up in the last discussion of Intel CPUs, and it's just wrong.
What you're describing is Thermal Throttling: underclock the CPU when overheating, so the processor won't burn out if the cooler falls of, or the fan dies. Yes, sometimes it kicks in when there isn't enough airflow, but that's usually because of a poorly designed case.
This power-management system on the other hand halts the CUP(s) when possible, or slows them down when not under heavy load, similar to what laptops do.
And how does this (or the updated post) answer the question? It's just a rant about evil corporations screwing everyone. As others already pointed out, the US would look stupid (again) complaining about that while continuing subsidization of all kinds of companies and industries.
And what do you think Mypal A620 is, an artificial vagina?;)
It is an Asus PocketPC, a slightly faster version of A600 I have, plus CF slot. Reading books is, BTW, one of my favorite uses of my PDA. It also runs DOOM fine and Quake just barely playable.
>This law should prevent kids from playing violent games in the same way that it prevents them from seeing a violent movie. No laws prohibit kids from viewing movies. Yes, I started from the end, but it looked like the main idea.
>This will prevent 13yo boys from giggling each other to death while playing Vampire: Bloodlines. Yeah, that's right. Giggling is a no-no.
>Remove cigiratte laws and kids will smoke. Of course, because with these laws kids don't smoke....
>but how many will think of shooting a gun as "cool"? Many of those who never played a video game think that shooting is cool. And how is the quote even relevant? You think about killing people, you kill people, again, again, and again, and you've got a habit of killing people. If this happens in a game, you're a "gamer". If this happens in real life, you're a "serial killer".
That's a fraction of what I wanted to point out, but I don't have the whole week. This should be enough for now. To sum it up:
> the article makes it seem like it wouldn't work if you didn't put it together in the same way
Really? From the article:
The guys at Flexilis decided on the Ruger 10 / 22 folding stock from Ramline, but you can use any stock you want.
You can even make the BlueSniper without the stock, if you want to be more discrete about scanning Bluetooth devices.

Huh? This is an example of interstate travel passport requirement!
>And, as the benchmarks showed, single-threaded applications ran slower on the dual-core processor than on the regular P4
That's because the dual core 840 runs at 3.2ghz while the singe core WHAT'SITSNUMBER runs at 3.7ghz

Well at least you can be sure that in Soviet Russia, T-Rex is faster than YOU!
That's right. They'll only post comments, without reading anything. Hmmm, maybe we already have something to back up the theory with...

Very fun Chineese companies talk about their Pmps, and make fun of my Archos.

I'm sorry, but it's not the Archos they were making fun of
Really? From the article:

Isn't this a description of the RPG gameplay?
