They pulled a couple of 'men's magazines', Maxim and Stuff because a few people complained.

They sell (unmarked) censored versions of music because the company find them morally wrong.

Consequently, I can't buy music there, since everything I buy has a 'parent advisory' on it.

Incidently, it is fairly common for big people to be 'easy going', not because we (I was 6'1" entering high school, 6'5" leaving) didn't get picked on, but because we know what damage we can do.

I avoided serious fights for years, until I was pushed too far in Jr. High and picked up the kid (my age but 6" shorter... why he picked the fight I don't know) and threw him into a wall 1 handed. I realized how much I could have hurt him and backed off...

It's not so much that I am particularly strong, I'm not. But an average 6' + person has a massive amount of force behind a punch, between weight and bigger muscles.

All that being said, it still sucked getting harassed for being the smart kid, but no one ever picked a fight again :)

Interesting thought, but a defense buildup and a space buildup are radically different in terms of cost. As I recall, the entire NASA budget is just a few billion dollars/year, and the defense budget is in the hundreds of billions.

Add to that the fact that China just can't compete economically with the US yet. They are getting better, but it's (a 'spend the US into destruction strategy) just to heavy a burden right now.

Hell, the US had an overall very prosperous economy, and it still took 40 years to do in the USSR...
