Also, add the environmental cost of gigantic batteries that these things will discard every five years (or has that been addressed?)- really, I don't know if it has, but I always wonder about the environmental impact of the battery production and destruction.
I think platypii should go on my friends list for reading my mind. I went back to the original post and can't figure out how it's anti-pop-crap. Thanks for reaffirming my lack of faith in mankind platypii!
Buy six of them and create a RAID5 array on an

You're right, I happen to listen to NPR and watch PBS and as you can tell from my post am neither intellectual or elite. I rarely talk about it to friends. (Now I must be an elitist, because I think my way of contributing is superior! Dohh!) There are a good many people I know that 'think' they are geniuses make sure they let everyone know they support Public Radio. I would have to qualify or restate my previous post as most donations probably are small and add up to the majority of funds contributed (pure speculation, but likely). But as usual, the vocal minority (Exceedingly rich, or annoyingly intellectual) are what many people picture when public radio donors are mentioned. It seems we do agree that Public Media is a Good thing, regardless of the hang-ups some people (me) have about the percieved, prototypical donors.
Try Public Radio/TV for a change of pace.

But there is a choice, public radio and puclic television. They ask you directly for money in annoying (but predictable) blocks of time that is easily tuned out. Plus, all of the rich people can -rockefeller endowment, etc. can feel good that they provide a public 'service' by donating. Of course your local intellectual elitist donate $50 every now and then too as they drink overpriced coffee (pinky extended). Public TV/Radio is a viable choice.
But the same could be said of SCO who was in danger of delisting a year ago (sub $1). Novell and SCO seem to be mirroring each other is my point, not necessarily SCO crashing to the ground because of this latest news. I must give recognition to your point. It seems SCOX behaves as expected and is entering their death spiral slowly, and Novell crept up slowly/quickly on some well though out aquisitions and strategies. I can't really explain why NOVL would be down from ~$15 on SCOX misfortunes is my point.
Oh yeah, well your sig is taken directly from the dead milkmen's 'stewart', and you didn't even give them credit! Yes I am joking with you, but there is some irony in this post, eh?
US doesn't have GSM? Somebody tell T-Mobile and AT&T that they don't have a system in the US anymore! Does that mean that my GSM phone doesn't work anymore? You superior Europeans confuse us simple minded Americans. I really doubt it's because GSM is not the de facto standard in the US.
Novell's support pack 3 has toolbox in it. If you update, youve got 'cp' and more! Also, as stated by someone else here, there is a beta bash shell for netware at forge.novell.com
It's called "No Soliciting". When you post that on your front door I believe the guest has the obligation to NOT SOLICIT (ie. not try and sell anything) to the property tenant. If they try anyway, it could be considered trespassing or soliciting. If you approach someone and harass them in a parking lot and ignore the answer "no" it should be considered assault. Sorry guy, I have no use for people selling unwanted stuff to me or my grandparents. If I want it, I'll find you. Try passive marketing. Get an ad in the paper, the phonebook, or get into a search engine database. Better yet, word of mouth from someone.
I can't believe this statement, another clueless (intellectually and culturally superior of course) European. I suppose the mangos, avocados, six kinds of onions, four types of tomatoes green peppers, jalapenos, habaneros and other vegetables are as plentiful in Europe as America. I also suppose that you saw no African tubors Asian spices and Mushrooms in American supermarkets as well. Poor uncultured Americans. There aren't even Ethiopian and Middle Eastern Restaraunts here (there are of course). If you refer to Continental Cuisine, it is too expensive and bland. No we don't stock blood sausage or snails typically, but that is not for lack of culture, it is called demand. There is none for these items. Try some boudan or menudo, or pickled pigs feet. BTW, if you show me where to get Tennesse pulled pork sandwiches with cole slaw on top in every town in France or maybe a steak burrito and hatch green pepper sauce with Guacamole,Sour Cream and pico de gallo, or maybe Maine Lobster, or maybe a nice juicy Brisket from Texas. Maybe it's not culture to you, but it's American and it's easily found in America. So next time I trip over Warsteiner, St. Pauly girl, Guiness, Bass, Red Stripe, or Chimay as I grab a Californian Wine avoiding Australian, French, or Spanish (of course) while preparing a meal with couscous or Dolphin (the fish not the mammal) with a Ramune Soda and a Pockey for desert at the grocer, I'll think about how sad it is we have no culture or choice in foods in America.
