A bit pedantic but I can see where you're going. I always get a little nervous when I start work somewhere and the first thing I get is a code formatting sheet that's over one page in length... never the less obviously some kind of formatting is useful. The two rules I find most useful & universal are; use a tab for indenting, since the tab character is usually configurable as the number of spaces between editors, so simply set the number of spaces your pedantic manager seems to need, and if I can get them to see the light of placing open parens on the next line under method signatures and on the same line as branches I'm as happy as a clam.
1) the US is a melting pot (not a salad bowl like the libs would make it). If you dump in too much new metal into a melting pot, the whole thing freezes up. So you need to make sure new metal (people) come in at a rate than can be absorbed. Obviously high skilled people can integrate easier - they're the equivalent of metal that's pre-heated, so you can add more of them than you can high school dropouts.
I've never read a more convoluted, contorted, forced allegory for the immigration issue in my LIFE. Pouring metal in a melting pot, "absorbed metal", "pre-heated"... you sound like a crack pot. Did you spend all night writing that garbage? For an ACCURATE picture of immigration in the 21st century look up the words "enclave" and "bailiwick". Every new group that comes here wants to be an island of thier own little culture with minimal influence of the hosts, very much unlike the 19th & 20th centuries which "melting pot" was actually accurate.
"What's your path to millionaire?"
Never heard this from a prospect, ever. What I can say is that all the companies I've worked for had a difficult time finding quaified IT workers. If that's the result of a global conspiracy its the most backwards conspiracy I've ever heard of.
Good thing for all the case wasn't tried in an Italian court, they would have found Apple guilty of voodoo and causing a small gnome dancing on Samsung's spleen to put Samsung's bodily humours out of balance.
Yeah, lets not be too quick to jump on the "latest, greatest, fastest, loudest" bandwagon just yet. One of Linux's strengths has been to be able to breath life back into that old P5 gathering dust in the corner.
Except windows 8 is so radical a departure from current infrastructure practices that the cost for a conversion is prohibitive for many shops. Windows 7 is cool, if you're not relying on some of the network and security apps that came standard on Windows xp.
This move is typical of governments. They have no idea what the actual implecations will be until inacted. Once put in place the politicians scratch their heads saying "I didn't sign on for this!"
Dragging the dog into the burning fireplace never gets old.
Oh... please relate the experience. I never had the opportunity to use Bob. Does the dog simply disappear or is there some obvious pain on the pooches' face?
Whatever your wp is, I agree, shortcuts are a pain in the ass. For me they're a short-term convinience and I get rid of them when I'm done with the task of the moment. When installers ask me if I want a short-cut to their wiz-bang application I cringe.

The Pentagon has concluded that computer sabotage coming from another country can constitute an act of war...
I guess that doesn't apply to China though.

Goddamn bastards.
This is what you get when you use a filesystem that wasn't developed by a real company.
Sounds like M$ FUD to me, but whatever. Is M$ the only "real" company?
Because if they had to worry about losing money, they would make damned sure that problem didn't exist. Or at least make it go away.
I got a list of "real"companies that haven't made good on many high-level flaws.
I thought this "problem" existed with ext4 for years.
You did? Would've made a nice /. article. Where are your notes regarding this flaw only you uncovered?
Yeah, Micro$oft is evil, but their FS works.

Agreed, some one will brew up a distro that is back compat, doesn't have OpenGL reqs, etc...
You just made me burst out lauging at the office. Tnx.
I told you. Money.
Moved it all to Mint and SliTaz.
This.

Oh, I'm sure they do.
So unlikely I would be willing to bet my new charger on it.
I guess a "subtitle" error would have been too forced?
Even so, with Zimmerman's involvement I tend more to a "trust" relationship than an "untrusted" one. Zimmerman is on my whitelist.
I love how people from a third-world financial situation feel empowered to tell us in the US about EVERYTHING. F-U froggie.

Mint Maya with XFCE is out, and simply useable. 'nuff said.
Windows 8 (was 'Metro'), or "Raring Ringtail"... tap tap tap...
(So want to call it "Raging Ringworm"...)
Is it because you are jealous of Him?
Being jelous of an entity that doesn't exist would be difficult at best. I think Dawkins is above such oddly conflicting and confusing opinions.
I think people love the commerative bc's, the special editions, etc...

Hey. You. Got off of my cloud.
