See i find this odd.. now i would normally not go and see most of these movies.. but i would wait for them to come on tv.. or download them
I know its still technically wrong;) but they claim they loose 1.6b a year on pirate movies.. I wonder what percentage of that were people that actually decided not to go see it and dl it instead.. I doubt its actually that many.
Even in the world of pirates there are standards and practices.. And 'real' releases even vcd's have to be rar'd up to ahere to this procedures..or they would get removed 'nuked' from the top sites and hence never filter down to the lower levels.
Also you can then use the sfv file to check for corruption and make sure you are getting the movie you expect too. However, sfv files never make it down to the lower ranks..
So these 'people' left it as intended..:)
readining this reminds me of my best joke on a work mate ever.
He was always forever installing bloody seti on every machine server in the building..
So i played a joke, installed a app on his machine which at random points (i controlled) ping up and say it had found a singnal etc etc etc.. i used the seti gfx etc etc.
He got really excited, so of course we went one stage further.. The seti app told him that the signals were getting sent off for analysis, and someone would contact him shortly.
We then (other had now joined in) continued to make him jump out of his seat and explain "its happened again." while the rest of tried to stop laughing.
So an spoofed email address was setup and we emailed him from seti.. told him they were getting looked at etc..
Over the period of a couple of weeks we got the noise off the film contact, and mixed it with white noies.. luckly he had not seen contact. it started off really quite quiet in the background, and each email it got better and more and more clearer.
It was genuis.. we couldn't stop laughing.. he was telling his friend family etc etc etc that hed discovered possible alien life contact..
Of course.. we then relised we had gone slighly too far and had to tell him..
Ninja Gadien was/is hard.. but not impossibly so. I think personally the balance is just right.. I almost gave up before the end of the first level. The first end of level boss was just so hard.
However, i moved on from button mashing and got control of the situation, and it owned.
I love games that make you throw the controller at the floor:) , but then make you pick it up for 'one more go'. - queue 3 am.
Another hard game that I have been playing too death at the mo is Amped 2.. Now that is a hard game, but again rewards skills and mastery of the control system.
Both these games have one thing in common.. the controls are perfect, Ninja Gadien reacts to your moves just as you need.. no lag etc etc, and the same with Amped too. This is the difference, yes its hard. But you blame yourself and not the controler/game when you mess up.. Tony Hawks is another example.. when you crashed is caues you were trying 'just one extra kickflip' or just 'hold that grind' a little to long..
xbox is the bestest cheapest option...
You can control it form a laptop via wireless, IR controller etc.. and with a good set of cables the quality is brilliant.
blah..
just install linux as a firewall.. and then use windows as a games machine behind the wall.. works fine.. and no virus..
Also this was a exploit on ****** a while ago.. just like the webdav bug (the blaster worm) it seems to take a couple of months and some idiot makes a damn virus out a perfectly good hacking tool:)
From gators site..
"As Vice President of Software Engineering, Tony is responsible for designing Gator's sophisticated software."
I think they mean:
Gator shite memory leaking resource whore software... i slight typo maybe?
brilliant.
thing is they must have been messing ages before in the system to work out exactly what to do without crashing the server. Which implies they knew a little too much about the inner workings..
I mean, you cannot just guess what bits of code to change on a MMPOG server to make everyone get sent to the bottom of the sea etc etc..
Cool.. a quantum monkey. suddenly life has got better..

you are completly correct.. However, isobuster works much better to get mpg's out of a cue/bin.. perfect to upload onto your xbox.. :)

if you have a fast computer they can just walk in and takeover/use it. i'm not joking..

looks like a laptop missing a few bits in a slighly bigger funckier box?
