The demo is out and I must say it is too much fun. The game plays like a crazy mix between tribes 2, quake 3, and BF2. Cant wait to see what the full version brings in and what the mod community turns out.

Speculations like this are complete garbage. Even assuming aliens would have to build a craft to travel here is too much.

Some buddies and I use to do this same sort of thing by hooking up a 9 volt power supply to a Mr.Microphone.
The Mr.Mic was a 1980 something kids toy that was shaped like a microphone that sent a FM signal about 15 foot.
We cut the wires to the actual microphone and hooked up an RCA jack and then plug it up to the line out on a mixing board. Since I lived on the highest hill in town we could pretty much saturate my whole town of 1200 people with the signal.
We totally thought we were the shit when Pump up the Volume came out. It was such great fun and my old school chum still has all the original broadcasts on reel to reel tape:P
You are bitching about paying $1-$1.25 an hour on entertainment? Do you think an actual hourly rate will be any lower than that? Do you ask the cable company to charge you for only times you are watching tv as well? How about your ISP? This arguement seems rather cheap and petty to me.
Let me just put it this way...if you are worried about spending $15 a month on entertainment ask your manager at McDonalds for more hours because you have some serious finiacial issues.
