The thing is those 6% overwhelmingly go to Germany and other Central-Eastern Europe nations. France has nuclear and the UK had North Sea natural gas. Italy and Spain use North African natural gas. Scandinavia uses coal and natural gas from Norway.
Still Putin chose a bad time to do this since the harshest part of the Winter has already come and gone. If they want to stop using Russian gas now is the best time in the year to start working on it.
I think they shouldn't forbid vendors from going this route. But it seems like a major waste of money. Its always going to be more expensive than either a Chromebook or a Windows netbook.
The major problem it has is it needs to pay the Microsoft tax to exist. That is no way to displace Microsoft from the market.
Regardless it looks like crap. Altavista went into a downward spiral for precisely this reason. It used to be great but it stopped being great when you had to sift thought one and sometimes two pages of ads before actually getting to the result you actually wanted.
If Google doesn't deliver the results people are searching for easily we will just switch search engine again.
What?! I have an iPhone 3GS and the camera was WORSE than the camera on my Sony Ericsson K750i which was several years older. Less resolution. No LED flash. Less light sensitivity. You name it. They only got it to be decent when the 4 came out.
The NSA taps into all Internet communications. Do you honestly think they don't have a substantial copy of the whole Bitcoin transaction record? IPs et al?
They may not have names in that database but they can certainly connect both if they want to.
AFAIK Tesla has show rooms that have an online kiosk that allows you to order the car online yourself. They don't do traditional auto dealer style business.
Microsoft Studios? Port an Xbox One exclusive to Linux? Perhaps when hell freezes over.
Besides the only CRYENGINE game I play is Mechwarrior Online. I actually tried playing Crysis but I hated it. Star Citizen, if it ever gets launched, is supposed to use the CRYENGINE as well.
The 'spontaneous' rebellion also enjoyed NATO bombardment of Gaddafi's motorcade when he was attempting to flee to Egypt.
It was a propped up coup. Worse of all they used Al-Qaeda and the bozos who usually destabilize South Algeria in the coup and gave them weapons. That is going to bite Europe in the ass eventually. Especially because South Algeria is the *other* source of natural gas into Europe other than Russia via pipeline. Other than that the only option is ship from Niger by boat or some other less cost effective means like that.
I keep hearing about that. AFAIK it was a Soviet Union planning disaster which was not targeted specifically at the Ukraine. Parts of Russia had the same sort of food shortages. The Soviet Union funded its rapid industrialization drive in the 1930s by confiscating farm output and sending it to the cities.

Of which they can print any amount they want to.
Depends on what you call 'local'. Try reading about the Greek Dark Ages.
History is written by the victors and all that.

I used to use Lycos, Hotbot and Altavista. I've changed search engines before.
Segregate them into separate schools. Let them fester in disease.
So how many servers did Google have when they started? Oh right a PC in a room in Stanford. How many servers did Altavista have back then?
History repeats itself when people repeat the same mistakes.
Its a search engine. I type keywords and expect certain results. If what I get instead are meaningless ads I'll start using a different service.

All 1.2% of them BTW.
Froyo phones are still available
Good luck finding one for sale. There are people still using them which is quite different.
Right. As if there aren't any Japanese companies making Android smartphones.
the camera, traditionally an Apple strong point

Just buy it from China then. I hear the Germans have a lovely natural gas deal with the Russians too.
That Conservative government used centralized planning to win the war remember?
The Chinese don't allow private ownership in the energy, transportation, telecoms, and banking sector. They seem to be doing just fine.
I did 'rm -rf /' once years back. It did not delete the entire filesystem. It stopped when it erased '/lib/libc.so'.

OpenAL can run on top of ALSA or PulseAudio.

Yeah. The Supox were offended.
