Uh, I don't think Obama's appointments to the DOJ have anything to do with Bush's legacy... It's not Bush's fault we said "Wow, Obama's a technology literate candidate! Let's vote for change!" and then watched as he handed our collective asses to the RIAA.

On a scale of one to ten, I give this troll a nine. Great wordmanship, good subject, but no buildup. If you try for something more like a Bel-Air, you might have more luck. You have to sucker-punch people, and if you leave no mystery until the end, there's no oomph.

  6. Shoe on the other foot... on Anti-Evolution "Academic Freedom" Bill Passed In Louisiana · · Score: 1
You know, if ID was all that was taught in public schools, you would be heralding this law as the savior of our children.

The only reason you don't like it is because, rather than having to defend the current curriculum, you would prefer it if everyone just accepted your view of things. (whether it's factual or not, all ideas should be constantly re-evaluated. it's the only way to find new truths, and further strengthen what we already know to be true)

When has debate ever been a bad thing? Take creationism out of the equation for a minute, and read the law's wording again. It really only advocates the presentation of alternate viewpoints and debate! Yes, the creationists will probably try to use this. Big deal! If evolution is scientific fact, then open criticism will only make it stronger! Some people will say "oh, it will confuse our children." I guess they won't ever be confused by the real world, or have to discern which of multiple viewpoints is the correct one. Since when has making our children ill-equipped to handle real-life issues been a bad thing?

I know these articles always seem to serve as "hate the christians" fodder, but just for once I'd like to see people look at a law objectively. This is starting to sound like Digg :\

The very nature of botnet activities usually requires a coordinated effort. You can't DDOS a website with randomly-delayed attacks from each host, because then it wouldn't be a DDOS, just a slower increase in traffic. Spam campaigns usually only work for the first few minutes before services catch on, and then that particular spam campaign is over. Unless all the bots participate reasonably simultaneously, they can't accomplish their goals as well.

The magnetic charger port is also a major sell. In any case, I don't want to topic hijack or sound like a rabid Mac fanboy - I'm just happier with macos, and I think it may be a better fit than Vista for *some* other people too.
