Obviously the war in Afghanistan is the primary driving force behind these quad legged robotics. Think of them as land-drones with mounted Metal Storm rounds and night vision (or something). Their roles can act as mules caring munitions, or playing the Hunter Killer. They're the perfect vehicle for breaking the stalemate in an exchange of fire suppression. No need to worry about splash damage from an aerial attack.

We, as a society, should be careful about vilifying the rich through higher taxation. This leads to a transfer of wealth to more friendly nations (more so than now). There is (will be) a breaking point. It's already an issue in the US, but once we start vilifying them as a culture, that's when people will start physically uprooting their own lives and move to other nations too. Not just their wealth. Historically, this leads to the hollowing out of a nation and thus oppression, populism, and dictatorships start taking over. The likes of tyranny never thought possible could occur inside our own borders.

Wealth by itself isn't the problem. It only becomes a problem when the wealthy are allowed to corrupt the system. It's at that point we start to see class-warfare solidify and everything else along with it falls into place ~for the worst.

Not really. Extroverted people love interacting with external stimuli in which they can be judged by other minds. These people tend to have a much higher sense of self-esteem and can be quite vain when taken to the extreme. Introverted people are the exact opposite. So while a hive-mind would appeal to the extroverted; solitude, meditation, and deep introspective thinking are activities most enjoyed by the introverted.

It's currently now at 10.6.6. Should a new SP get released, I'm sure that will change over to 10.6.7 and thus adding new features. I know that 10.6.6 added the market place for the first time.

Poisonous plants, animals, or parasites can enter the body through the cuts on an injured bare foot – footwear can be valuable in protecting them. Hookworm larvae (found only in warm, moist climates), can also easily burrow through a bare human foot.

Go barefoot. It is healthy, clean, fun, cheap, easy, etc

No no no NO! Wrong! The use of the shoe has been used going as far back as 8000 BC and maybe even to 40,000 BC. And there's a reason. Thorns cut and rocks hurt. They also lead to infection and WORMS should you be walking around in shallow freshwater with a cut. Some regions on Earth maybe more safe than others, but it's always risky regardless. Hence why man invented the shoe so long ago.

Now with modern materials, you can still have that free feeling of running barefoot with barefoot running shoes. Just Google them. They're supposed to be the next fad in sportswear.
