You're wrong, trust me, you are. The only "truth" is a snippet of information blown completely out of proportion. For the most part, it's hyperbole if not outright BS.
Just because it's controversial doesn't mean it can't be slanderous too.
It doesn't even matter all that much that Rush Limbaugh had to smuggle Viagra on a sex tour so he could get it up for underage hookers, and it matters only a little more that George W. Bush was a cokehead and a deserter, or that Laura Bush got away with drunk-driving manslaughter.
Congrats, you just slandered three people in one post. FUCK YOU Daniel!
Oh hell, I wish all of DC would start using this paper. I for one welcome forced "sun sets" (erased) on all future bills. At the rate government keeps growing, it could use some self assisted management. Lets start with the tax code eh?
That's right all you DC political bitches, the door swings both ways!
Experimental aviation is the fastest developing part of general aviation, and anyone with the right commitment and willingness to learn can build a plane too.
I'm curious to know how that's possible. Last I heard, the FAA (in the US at least) have very tight regulations and certification requirements. It can take years and hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of dollars just to break through all the legal red tape. In fact, I hear these expenditures dwarf that of R&D and material costs combined for a small company. Let's not forget that it also takes years just to pass certification on new designs.
It's doomed because of the major ISPs. Be it Cable or Telco, the service would consume more bandwidth than they have allocated to their customers. Second, it competes with same services they offer.
Some DSL providers in the early years have done this as well in the US. I'm not sure if it still goes on, but there's a reason why routers still offer the ability to "clone" a mac address.
It's also worth mentioning that most cable modem arn't pre-programmed to accept only one mac address. Very often, they will read and cache that mac address in the modem itself. The only way to flush it out is to disconnect from it for a minute or less. Then, just power it on, and apply power to your router (in that order).
My bill increased a few months ago due to new pricing on their end. But it gets better... They slapped a $1.99 "change of service" fee because of it. Can you believe that shit?! The audacity!
Needless to say, I call customer service and got routed to someone in India. It took her 20 minutes to resolve the issue with a manager. Eventually, she said she was sorry and would credit my account for next months bill.
It's been well established that Saddam and his two sons are sociopaths. In fact, his daughter Raghdad showed similer behavior traits as well. I've always had a hard time believing these were just problems from how they were raised as a family. Given the heinousness of their actions, I'm willing to bet there is a genetic link.
Question is, will we ever run DNA tests? If we have, will the results ever be accessable under the Freedom of Information Act?
The "West" has zero respect for the Chinese government. Why you ask? It's simple. The CCP does *NOT* reflect the chinese population as a whole. Unless it's democractic, it's another self-righteous regime.
To be honest I see it only as a propaganda war between China and the west, no more, no less. China's point of view (not just the Chinese government's view or a nobody cared dissident's view, but an average Chinese view) is intentionally suppressed in the west and there's no such thing as fairness and balanced report.
Funny you say that. We Americans feel the same way we are reported around the world. The fact is, we are never going get a "fair and ballanced" report. So get over it. The only question to ask yourself is who's going to be in charge? Which leaves me to my next question...
To fight this propaganda war, controlling the media is the necessary sin. If it's now being done too harshly and awkwardly, China's skill of manipulating the media needs to be improved.
I understand now. You would rather put trust in a government you have no voice in, than your average Chinese citizen? And I thought China was supposed to be civilized...
Also I don't buy those free speech lectures. Time and time again it's been proved hypocritical and even ill-intentioned, or useless to say the least.
Shouldn't it be to duty of the caring citizen to form an opinion rather than have the government shove it down their throat?
Given how successful western democracy is compaired to totalitarianism, why would you ever continue to shill for the CCP? What's in it for you? Money, granted freedom, the ability to look down on your fellow chinese citizen with an elitist attitude?
I have a better idea. Instead of looking to the West as your problem, why not look inward toward your own government. They are root of all your troubles. And only people such as yourself can solve the problem, not us. So please, don't take your frustration out on the western media. They're the least of your problems.
Because it has a "victimization" slant to it. Technically, I would give it a neutral rating. But, if it had something to do with blacks or hispanics not getting enough attention in school, it would be liberal without question.
"may be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed."
OTOH, think how much money companies are spending to filter out all that SPAM. Everything from Firewall, to Anti-virus solutions to block the stuff. That doesn't come cheap depending on how many employees or customers there are effected. If this 7% does cut into the spammers profits in a way that it shuts them down, it will be a lot cheaper over all than the current meathods of fighting spam. Oh, and think how much bandwidth it would free up around the world.
7% increase to knock out the spammers? God, we can only dream of it!
So, let's say I'm talking on my cell phone. However, a plane with its own "cell tower" is in its tail heading toward me. What happens next? Will my phone see that as a stronger signal and hop to the plane, and then back to a ground station?
I hope they figured this all out, because I can imagine overhead flights causing a lot of cellular interruption of service for those of us on the ground. Better yet, what happens when two planes cross paths?
Doesn't surprise me in the least. I'm sure most of the Windows XP installations are from a pirated source including other software (Adobe, AutoCAD, MS Office...etc). Hell, even their native instant messenger QQ is craptastic.
China's network is a dirty filthy slime pit. So many viri and botnets infest it, i'm sure it's their #2 cause of bandwidth consumption closely behind BitTorrent traffic. Oh, and did I mention their DNS replication is FUBAR!. It'll take years to clean it up even if all ISPs banded togeather to start working on a solution.
For China to bitch over Taiwan would be like the UK bitching over how America is still theirs. China had a civil war and the nation split. One side is on the mainland, the other on an island. So much has changed now, they should be looked at as two independent nations.
I sware, the Chinese government is populated with a bunch of cry babies. Waaahhhhhh
I remember reading about how physicists are running into the limitations of "C" (speed of light) with regards to signal propagation across the CPU die. Even though something measuring 143 mm^2 is small, at speeds of 100GHz (or was that 1Thz), I doubt your processing can remain symmetrical. If that's true, such fast CPUs will need to be engineered for asymmetrical processing instead.
So far, I've noticed a fast improvement with Disk IO performance with SP1. I think I'm going to take Vista for another spin now that it feels "faster". It's still a memory hog however. I'd recommend 2GB or 1GB at the very least.
That's a very BAD idea. It should be so fucking obvious what would happen next! First, the "media producer" would raise their rates pulled from their ass. Second, the government would tax more accordingly.
Im sure you would also advocate the government regulate the "media producer" as a response? Seriously, this is how government grows and becomes MORE corrupt. Nice eh?
I've got a Sandisk Cruzer Titanium 4GB flashdrive. I've been using it since the day they were available in stores. As such, I've always kept it with me in my pocket. This wouldn't be a problem, except it's always exposed to heat and sweat. To make matters worse, I've thrown my pants in the washer and dryer *with* the drive about five times now.
It still works. I write and erase on the flashdrive almost daily. I easily copy 100MB files to it. No problems detected yet.
With the increase in blue ray and the fact Sony needs to start making a profit on the PS3, I'm willing to bet the 45nm process is to keep the PS3 price from raising if not keep it the same.

My vote goes for the Unicomp keyboards. They're mechanical and provides a nice "click". Oh, and their built like a tank. Got mine for about $70

It's just plain sad.

...the president signs bills with the click of a mouse.
Sorry, but someone already has a patent on the "Buy It Now" feature.

A "mirror" that can record and playback. Ohh the vanity!
How soon can we see this implemented in my Garman GPS unit or Google Maps?
If your interested in downloading and installing a fresh copy of Vista with SP1 integrated, be sure to hunt down the ISO (provided by MSDN).
