M$ used to release a new version of windows every two years, with Longhorn delayed even more, I wonder how different it's going to be from XP, on the other hand, this is definitely going to affect M$ monoploly, with their current apps getting outdated more and more.
I haven't read the article yet, but plz don't say it blames games for making gambling more popular or something, this sucks, looks like the media is trying to link every single bad thing in thw world to gaming:/
LCD on top of a conventional monitor? what's the point? I doubt that such a thing will make any use, we always hear about such stuff and never see them make it to the public.
I actually read a comment on slashdot a while ago, which I can't seem to dig it out right now, that comment made fun of the idea of using windows in mission critical situaltions because of its vulnrabilities and non stablity.
Why the heck are they using windows anyways?
syberia didn't make it to the list? neither did grim fandango?? both were some of the greatest advanture gams i've ever played, i almost cried while watching both endings:/
Blizzard added all the cool features from The Forzen Throne to War3 classic in this patch, though that one may expect Blizzard to keep them for the expansion to sell more, kudos to Blizzard.
I don't know but I didn't find Lindows a good replacement for Linux for those who want to try the *nix world, especially that it costs money and doesn't come with all the software a good distro comes with, anyway, I guess it maybe good for those who think that windows is the only OS.
I (and most of us I think) usually visit GameFAQs to get those.txt files called FAQs, and those files are contributed by people around the world, if CNet is going to charge for those files, then people won't submit them anymore, so I guess FAQs will stay free, that's all what I need, I do't care about other services.
The expansion DOES require its own CD key to work.
On the other hand, I think that Blizzard's expansions are big enough to deserve paying for, Broodwar was as long as the otiginal Starcraft.
I wonder if you have played Syberia before, the puzzles aren't that difficult, it took me 3 days to beat the game, but the story is great, I highly recommend it.

Yeah! Another adventure game by Lucas Arts, I hope the game will be as good as Grim Fandango, the screenshots reminded me of those great days when I spent hours and hours trying to solve Grim Fandango's puzzles.
Hopefully the game will put back life into the genre.
the media is definitely no going to be happy with it, especially with ability to skip ads, i wonder how they are going to act if it becomes popular.

... don't forget to buy your license from SCO before using the kernel.

Wow, being able to do remote-desktop over slow connections sounds cool, I'm having a lot of trouble using vnc over modem to fix mom's pc every time :P
... toxic nanomaterials fears you!

20% of desktop computers running Linux, and SCO charges 699$ per computer, so this equals ??? I guess SCO will get a decent amount of money by then.
I've been playing it with a couple of friends over LAN for sometime now, and I'd say it works well, great work.
Graphics Do Not Gameplay Make? Are you sure guys you know how to make an English sentence before posting about making games?

but I wish if he could add some graphics to the page, lets say pics of houses owned and the like
I wonder if they are planning on an official BitTorrent.
I wonder if this goes as it's planned to, is it the end of search engines, and the beginning of peap to pear search?
