All it takes is one previous time of Jussi refusing to pass that info out and resulting in a "we pay your ass, do it when I tell you to!" reprimand, and Jussi will have been changed by the corporate environment to jump when the COO or CEO says to via email.
I haven't received a reprimand like that.
But think about how you would want to go out? Would you rather be fired for not dishing out a password without verification? Or would you rather be fired for letting hackers into your systems and run amok? One scenario will make you look decent in an interview. The other will ensure no one in town will hire you.
I've gone to bat about foreign workers sharing login ids. I would flat out refuse to reset their passwords. It happened alot. But I was backed up on my stance. They got told to get their act together and they stopped sharing their user ids.
The hard part for Jussi is that he/she got the request from her boss's e-mail account. An account that presumably only the really person would have access to.
Wouldn't the simple (yet uncomfortable solution) be to create a space chastity belt with extra shielding to protect the gametes during travel. You only need to protect a much smaller area.
And when it comes to failed fetuses, isn't that a self solving problem? Damaged sperm and eggs probably won't make it. But the healthier ones will have a better chance of fertilizing. And so what if you have a larger percentage of miscarriages? That is simply nature sorting life out. All you need are 2-3 healthy babies in the end.
> Being comfortable - is that a 'basic human right' or something?
It's not really so much being comfortable, but being able to freely and openly express my political opinions on my free time, when I am not at work I think should be a basic human right. I don't want to sue my employer. I just don't want to be fired when my political opinions conflict with my employer's political opinions despite the fact that I am smart enough not to bring it up at work.
Yes. I knew that too. I was just wondering if I had any protections from adverse actions of my employer if he doesn't like my federally protected free speech. Being free from govermental oppression due to speech is great. But there is still the unaddressed tier where rich business owners can silence you.
It's great that complaining about work related issues is protected. But, for example, if I want to bash (without liable or slander) my employer's favorite anti-gay-marriage organization on my face book account (or myspace, or blog), it is disconcerting to know that my employer would be free to give me the axe over that.
Am I correct that such speech is not protected in "Work at Will" states?
unless you can irrefutably prove that you were fired because you are black/gay/tea party supporter/etc there is nothing you can do about it.
I didn't think that political stance was a protected class in most "Work at Will" states. As far as I knew, the only thing stopping employers from firing people based on political party was the horrible publicity that might swing back at them.
Sometimes the back streets are a faster way to work. Especially when the interstate is congested. Honestly it's almost a coin toss as to which way is the most efficient.
If I'm the one compensating them I should be able to fire them, for whatever reason I choose.
The problem with that is that if you are working for someone else, as does 99% of the working US citizens, suddenly you have to watch what you say on your own time. I find that incredibly uncomfortable. In fact a large percentage of me speech is throttled because I am well aware that my employer can fire me for almost any reason or for no stated reason at all.
Our life off the clock should be ours to live as we wish. How many of us work for people who have conservative christian leanings? What if that employer is backing some serious overly conservative bible thumping organizations that are trying to limit people's rights and freedoms. I would like to be able to openly protest and fight against those efforts while not at work without fear of being fired.
I thought people who worked in "Work at Will" states could be fired for any reason (or no reason at all, so long as it didn't run up against discrimination laws. I thought Freedom of Speech only applied to the government's control, not private employers.
Because you do not get a 100% efficient burn and because H2 is very leaky stuff even in a fuel cell, the other waste product they fail to mention is the fuel itself.
The other waste product is the fuel itself? Isn't the fuel hydrogen too?
Here is Benihana's General Manager's (Mike Servo) stated case against the blogger:
You mentioned clearly on a detour way on not to go to Benihana and go to Maki or Wasabi or Chocolate Bar and we believe that this is against the law of Kuwait, We respect our rights on not to advertise in your website and if we don’t, this will not mean that we will be hurt by your side and if this done, the court in Kuwait will be in our side to give us our rights.
A few days back I posted about Benihana opening up at the Avenues and yesterday night I decided to pass by with Nat and try it out. The service wasn’t too bad for a restaurant that’s just been open for a few days and the staff were really friendly. The restaurant itself is made up of islands and bars with a grill in the middle of each one. You sit around the grill and the chef will come to your table and prepare the food right in front of you which makes things entertaining. It’s actually why I prefer sitting at the bar in Japanese restaurants in general, since you can talk to the chef and watch them put your dish together. The problem with my experience last night though was with the food, it was disappointing to say the least.
We ordered beef negimayaki for starters followed by an Orange Blossom maki and a Hibachi Chicken. The negimaki arrived looking good and was probably the best thing we had there even though I prefer Maki’s negimaki which has a richer teriyaki sauce. The Orange Blossom was very ordinary, wouldn’t order it again. Now the Hibachi chicken which is basically grilled chicken, that was the worst. The chicken was very chewy (I could swear it was undercooked if not raw) and tasted terrible. Even after I had the chef add some more teriyaki sauce in hopes of improving the taste it didn’t work. I tried to dip it into the sauces that came with the chicken but it was hard to figure out if they were actually making things worse or not. Nat only ate one piece of chicken and left the rest while I needed my protein since I’m on a strict diet and forced myself to eat my whole plate (I can do that) but the after taste was really bad. Even the rice and the veggies that came with it tasted bad AND were under cooked. Once we left I considered picking up a frozen yogurt from Pinkberry even though I hate frozen yogurts but I just needed something to get rid of the aftertaste. A few moments later we ended up at Chocolate Bar ordering the gooey chocolate cake (bye bye diet).
I shot the two videos above of the chef preparing our meal. Benihana are known for the live shows they perform when preparing your dish so I was expecting to see [This] but ended up with the above . Would I go back to Benihana? No I wouldn’t. Their sashimi and maki’s are pretty cheap (KD1.5 for 5 pieces of Salmon sashimi for example) but there are two other Japanese restaurants at the Avenues, Wasabi and Maki, and I would prefer either one of those to Benihana.
It's called a government by the people for the people.

do we really want Amazon downloading everything it thinks you want to your tablet?"
It's all fun and games until you visit 4chan and get something preloaded you don't want.
Interesting idea. In that case, perhaps we should send an all lesbian female crew to increase total child bearing potential.

The only way I would agree to "basic income" is if the government required "basic work" in exchange. (Invalids & their ilk except.)

I hear Steve from Accounting goes both ways.

It doesn't look like much from the picture. The only supporting statement in the article is:
its two points set in perfect alignment with the setting sun on a midsummer's day.
I'd like a little more supporting documentation before getting all excited about this.
It looks like Benihana has another branch for dealing with other international locations.

OOOOOooooo
I'm going to take a stab at this and suggest that there probably isn't a whole lot out there. Most of it is probably duplicates.
Hard drive space is cheap. Text takes up little space. And they have one hell of a budget.
