Forget about that crimper. Bulk patch cables are easy & cheap to come by, they work and they're disposable.
Instead of making the run one long patch cable though, I'd have you run CAT5(e) or 6 cable between your points and install CAT5(e) or 6 jacks at each end. This has the benefit of looking neater, is easier to troubleshoot & repair and is easier to install. You just need some standard tools & a 110 punch-down tool to put it all together.
If this new "Bluetooth killer" takes off, Nokia would be able to collect royalties on the products licensed, rather than just paying into the Bluetooth consortium like everyone else.
If they named it Bluetooth 3.0 or whatever, they'd still have to license it through the consortium.
Hell, just turn off the monitors or unplug them.:)
Don't think I haven't tried. Unfortunately, the bracket for the monitors has a metal tab holding the connectors firmly in place and making the power switch inaccesible.:-(

The Toytoa Prius will only allow destination input while the car is stopped (ie: at a stop light or side of road). It has the added feature of allowing a few pre-set destinations to be called up by voice command.
I wish it responded a little more quickly. It's frustrating to wade through those sceerns when you desperately want to get on the road again. I don't really think that it's more distracting than anything else in the car, though. (Radio, CD, Phone, McBurger, girlfriend suddenly shouting "Ooh, look! Shiny!" at something.)

Assuming your question is sincere:
^H is a representation of Control-H, which is the ASCII character for backspace. Try it sometime: instead of hitting your backspace key to delete a character, hold down the Ctrl key and press H. It _should_ work (assuming that it hasn't been mapped to another function).
Is it ignorant to believe an IT manager should be a knowledgeable in technology as a whole?
Knowledgable, perhaps. It's not a requirement for a manager to know the nuts and bolts of the work, but he should have a good handle on the big picture and a set of priorities for his staff that he should be able to clearly share.
A person you respect and frequently learn from?
Respect is important, but learning from your manager is less so - unless you want to learn about personnel management or company politics. A good manager should be able to protect his staff from those problems.
Before I could thank them for their time, I was interrupted by a Sun PR flack, who informed me that I was not supposed to be there and that she was going to escort me to the door. It turns out that the press was supposed to leave a half hour before that, and that the end of the party was for Sun employees only. Somehow my colleague Chris Preimesberger and I were overlooked during the press and analyst roundup. So like the cops arresting the Monty Python cast at the end of "The Holy Grail," my colleague and I were ever so gently forced to leave the building. If only we'd been developers instead.
Then they would have given you a cheeseburger and a coke on your way out?
The thing that always stuck me about Wile E Coyote's plans is that occasionally he would have a brilliant plan, but something would go wrong, the rope would come loose, or the buckle would break.
I'd blame that on ACME Corp, mostly. I never noticed any users errors.
They DID get it right in "Yellow Submarine" however.

Well, one thing I can assure you is that your vote will NOT count in Iowa, should this bill pass into law.
Your vote will count in Iowa, as long as you don't vote there.

The LoC measurement is silly because I have as much reference to what a LoC is in data as I do to what they're comparing it to.
Just for your reference then: The iPod Nano is (approxiamtely) 7.5e-5 football fields thick.

IMHO, of course.

NSF, to me, translates to "Non-Sufficient Funds" or a bounced check.
I can tell you from personal experience that this method of "funding" only works for the short term.
