    They block new housing development, so there is a shortage. Then they throw a fit because rent keeps going up. Even if there wasn't a tech boom, this is the expected result when you strangle the supply. Have they stopped teaching basic economics in our schools?

    When I could BART to work I did so because I could sit back and read instead of gritting my teeth in traffic. The trip time was about the same, but it was no longer wasted time.

    The CDC isn't allowed to research gun violence because they produced a "scientific" paper that was nothing but a political wish list to ban guns. It was so completely debunked that the fallout was them losing the right to do that research in the future. Basically, they lied so blatantly that they can't be trusted.

    FWIW they all can be restricted (although there's never been a court case on quartering troops AFAIK)

    There is a case right now on just that subject. The police kicked a family out of their own home so they could spy on a neighbor. Unfortunately, I don't have a link handy but I'm sure google would help if you are interested enough.

    Exactly. That's why they only covered the fundamentals. Freedom of the press is protected. They didn't bother to say "freedom to operate a printing press". How the press works has evolved, but the basic right as they envisioned still works perfectly, without any need to change it.

    The internet doesn't change anything. See the I and IV Amendment. The Supreme Court covered this a long time ago when they said the IV applied to the telephone. The means of communication does not matter. It is protected.

    Privacy is also protected by the IV (secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures) and the V (right not to be a witness against oneself, e.g. the right to not say anything).

    The Constitution evolves by amendments. It does not evolve because you want it to mean something entirely different.

    Simple. A corporation is not a person. A corporation is owned by people. A fictional business entity should not have any political rights at all. This does not reduce the rights of the individuals who own stock in the business. They are free to support whatever political cause they wish.

    Right now, a group of avowed Clinton haters is still trawling through Clinton's emails trying to find some case where she might have accidentally mislabeled an email or sent it to the wrong person. That's how pathetic this is.

    You are ignoring the emails where HRC specifically tells her staff to remove the "classified/secret" labels from an email before resending it over an insecure fax machine. Claiming it was an accident is not believable when you admit to violating the law.
