It works...on a Mac- you can use the app Grab or just CMD-Shift-4 then press space. This will turn your cursor into a camera- hover over the window you want and click. The screencap is a png bounded by the window that includes all the transparent niceties like anti-aliasing to clear on rounded corners, drop shadows and transparency (try a transparent terminal window!). You can even snap windows that aren't focused or windows that are occluded and it will get the whole thing. Try it on Dashboard Widgets and Dock Icons too.
Pretty Handy. I'd be surprised if there isn't a way to do this in Windows Vista (since aero presumably doesn't use old school screen buffering)- though it may require some shareware. Good luck!

No- Flasthtops are on their way out Pramtops are the N.B.T.
Ok Actually flashtops are a pretty good idea (are you listening Apple). It would be sweet to have a 12 or 13 inch laptop with a midgrade processor, a real graphics chip and a solid state drive. Oh and one more thing- get rid of the stupid waste of space optical drive. Give me a bigger battery or something.
Data that cannot be stored will not be produced because all data that is produced must be stored. Data that is not stored (for however short a time) is not really produced.
Then again the past no longer exists anyway, the future doesn't exist yet and the present has no duration- so maybe the data never existed anyway. Maybe you don't exist?!?! Awe man maybe I *~/ disappears in a puff of logic*

you might notice that many web checkout apps throw an error on a plus sign in an email address.
You might want to use a random email address at your domain (eg 84tk7xkq89@microsoft.com) so that you avoid dictionary attacks. The down side is that you have to maintain a table that converts random addresses to companies. So actually a better idea would be to encrypt the company names with a common key. Then you can just decrypt and bingo!
Lacky "But sir, I've we haven't upgrade the cannons to be lawyer proof- I've only just got her up and running this week. Surely my beautiful cannon will be injured!"
Perhaps another issue in the modern era is making sure parents what the issues are. I doubt this is a smear campaign any more than people pick on computers for being porn portals. The real issue is that parents, who may already moderate and educate their children with computer use, know that modern game consoles have the same capabilities.
My dad does not type. Nor has he ever used a mouse. I abused the heck out of that in my early high school years.

Because Linux now is not Linux yesterday. And because of Stockholders. And because it's pretty close to free for them.
The video just shows them changing from blue to clear...just like any old...that was a lame episode of lost...calculator. I hope it's cooler.
Ok, just kidding about that. Seriously, it depends on the doctor- mine is great!
That's totally not true- read the literature. I am a microbiologist.
obOfftopic: Wonder when someone will release a Vista-Lite with all the extra crap (processes / services) stripped out?

In international trade we like to call those "non-traditional agricultural exports," NTAEs.

Tried it, the latency is terrible.
No one actually says that, at least not in Mexico.
