It's too early for a new system. My Gamecube still gets 60 fps in most games all the time. They should wait until the current hardware is really challenged before they start selling something more powerful.
Since it's open-source, take that discontinued project and make your own out of it. If it's good, you'll have something good to start from. Add the features you require and contact the original authors and see if you can take over their website.
I went out to Best Buy today and bought TimeSplitters 3. I drove home and put the disc into my GameCube. I fired it up, turned on progressive scan and wide screen, and it was set. No installation, no patching, no bullshit.
Don't get me wrong; I love my PC games. But when I'm in the mood for something to really just work, I turn to my trusty consoles. I've treated mine well and never had a failure.
I also treat my computer well, but HDD space and system requirements often stand in the way of just wanting to sit down and play a game. With a console, I never worry about how much room I have left or if I need to turn down the detail to gain framerate.
This is what "gamespotting" is? Who gives a damn about any single game review site? I get nearly all of my game information from http://gamerankings.com/ and http://gamefaqs.com/. If it isn't there, it's on Google.
When I need my computer to do a really demanding task when I'm not at the desk, I usually start the task, go do something else, and then come back and hope it's finished!
The simplest explanation tends to be the best.
They are lazy programmers who know they won't sell many extra motherboards if they do include the extra ability.
It's got everything you need, and not much of what you don't. It's got decent battery life, great reception, and a readable screen. It vibrates, it rings, it stores phone numbers, and it text messages. That's all I need mine to do. It also has a few other features such as voice dialing, but they're not positioned in such a way that they're obtrusive.
I've had mine for a while and it's damn near indestructible, except for the antenna. I've dropped it plenty of times; I've even washed it in the washing machine with my shorts by mistake!
To date, I've never used a Motorola product of any sort that has failed to meet my expectations.
LA Rush is likely a sequel to the kick-ass racing games that appeared in arcades and on the N64. I also believe that some versions appeared on PS and PC.
The games were SF Rush for N64, PS and arcade, Rush: The Rock/Alcatraz Edition in the arcade, Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA for the N64 and PC, and Rush: 2049 for N64 and the arcade. Those were some great games, especially the first two for N64.
I've been waiting a long time for a sequel to appear. I hope this shows up on Gamecube!
The Revolutionary part of Nintendo's next console is probably that sort of feature. Actually, that will be just one of the revolutionary features. It will do all things! Nintendo can do no wrong! Luigi's Mansion was a great game!
Well, KDE has such a great accessibility package that somebody who's been using Windows 3.1 and is blind could learn how to use it in just about 15 minutes.
All he would need to do is type "apt-get install kdebase" after he finishes installing the special blind-unstable branch. Then run the config scripts for all the random stuff that goes into using a computer when you're blind...and bingo! If it doesn't work quite right, he can just edit the source code since it's GPL and he's got a computer doing EXACTLY what he wants!
To me, life isn't worth living without liberty and property. I'm a very resourceful person and I want to make my own way without being held back by those too lame to do so themselves, or so greedy that they must push others down to accomplish anything.
At least we still have guns so my life can end with a bang instead of starving to death.
The best virus protection is to turn off unnecessary services and keep software up to date. I don't use realtime virus protection of any sort and I have never had a virus detected when I occasionally run scans.
Seems like I've been waiting HALF of my LIFE to play it! In fact, it's taking FOREVER!
Wait...wrong game, nevermind.
That's probably becuase you're a goody-goody. You're a good-ass, and I'm a badass.
Goody-goody two shoes!
Nope. Never even heard of them, actually.
When the latest games were playing slowly on my N64 (think Perfect Dark), I was ready for a new system.

Try a flea market. I've been to many a flea market and most of them have 5 porn DVD's for $4. But who needs that when you can download?
That's only for 1 year of school. I'm sure there's much better offers for somebody with a BS in CS. There are, right?
Nobody died in Apollo 13.

They fill two different needs.

So Iran centric! What about the rest of the world?
Luigi's Mansion was indeed entertaining, but not what I expected from a Nintendo launch title.

Same old conspiracy as the virus conspiracy with a new face and different people.
Next conspiracy, please.
I'll send a fucking .357 magnum down the pipe of my revolver when I'm 21 and can finally buy a handgun from a respectable dealer.

Ummmm...maybe because if they take your house for no reason they'll take your computer for no reason?
I get somewhere around 102937898123704 FPS when playing Doom! I rule! It only goes down slightly when playing Doom II.
