Google's management might be thinking, that Apple should be dead and buried before this kind of product creation kicks off. The market the Aliyun OS is targeted at is not an Apple market, they are are far from it as can be in dollar terms, so it dosen't tackle the big player. Who knows this might have come from Amazon tackling Alibaba via Google. Google of course will not want to negativity associated with the threat and will likely withdraw from it.
Personally I look forward to the open competition of 'Linux' phones of all manufactures and distributions. A market that will spread into smartbooks and then of course inevitably the desktop. An open market where manufacturers will have to compete on their merits, not on bogus patents and the customer gets as much choice as possible.
It was that little slug Sarkozy getting blow jobs from his RIAA/MPAA wife foe legislation. Don't be surprised if the law isn't revised to death before too long. He would keep trying to force the law through and it was continually knocked back by the government, until the very end.
Obviously the law is corrupt as it requires the level of expertise equal to degree in computer science with security experience to truly effectively defend against, rather than something the general user has any hope of managing. Plus of course they have criminally penalised an individual with only circumstantial evidence, way less than is required for a traffic fine, as the vehicle with a physical number is present at the location of the crime. In case it was purely the digital representation of rotating IP address.
Why did they pursue it know, obviously to stick it to that little slug Sarkozy and anger his wife by killing the law.
Nice slippery comment there, "I hate but". Really who gives a crap. Reality is Apple had a fad product it knew it, it knew it was eventually doomed to collapse as all fad products are and is attempting to fend off that collapse as long as possible, via the laws courts and basically damn the consequences (the retaliation will not end once the delay is over, break a cease fire and the rest go in for the kill). As for those schmucks who have invested heavily in Apple's wildly inflated share price, two words, 'KA-BOOM'.
Penny pinching to maximise profits and also the ability to tout light weight are creating the urge to under size batteries against expected use. Stop blaming the customer that crap is straight up marketing bullshit. Apple knows full well the expected use and is simply short changing the battery to pick up a few more cents profit.
Much the same as the change in screen size. Apple marketing was disturbed by people standing an iPhone up against a Galaxy Nexus and in comparison commenting the iPhone looked like a toy. So the marketing department rather than creating an equal sized phone, snuck in taller one so when people compared the phones standing up the iPhone wouldn't look as small. The reason, screen area is the number one big ticket cost and you pay per square mm, so Apple squeezing out extra profit from it's customers.
As for the reviews oh my the paid for pandering absolutely sucks. Apple do you seriously believe normal people will accept such biased reviews, best phone on the market, not based on specs, oh no, based purely on paid to comment opinion.
Not to forget that there is and age related demographic at work here as well. Wrinkly old non-coloured addicted to the idiot box tend to vote a particular way especially the more fear full amongst them. Younger voters more accustomed to the internet tend to vote another way, especially the least fearful amongst them.
Well we know that a substantial amount was broken up by dispersants and adsorbed into substrata and being slowly re-released. More rapidly of course when hurricanes stir up the sediments. Of course added to this was in fact that it was crude-oil and comprised a range of toxic elements many of which simply evaporated away creating a more toxic atmosphere at those locales. Much was absorbed into enormous fish and animal kills which were buried at closed to the public locations.
Of course some media sites don't tow the government line http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/features/2012/03/20123571723894800.html but nasty foreigners who can trust them. Now with enormous pressure on, often of the directly threatened lethal kind, people are required to talk up the regional fishing tourism and general beach recreation of the region, regardless of actual fish catches and their general condition.
As for the toxic carcinogens contained within crude oil and normally contained and not released into the environment, bacteria 'er', 'um', just assume that the bacteria also ate them and made them, 'woosh', disappear.
So how would you feel getting paid cents per hour for 12 hour days on six day weeks, knowing that in an unsafe work environment one accident permanent disabling and it's tough luck you're out the door with no insurance. All with no choice, either complete or fail, now that's inhumane, especially considering the owner is a billionaire. The richer the greedier.
The worst thing I've come across is thighing, I won't describe you can look it up yourself, some things once read can not be unread. I though sure fair enough some way old crap by sick sheep herders. So I tried to find condemnation of this practice in the modern religous world of it's adherents, instead I came across a mass wedding, 200 in fact, in the modern world. What I took to be cute little bridesmaid, instead were brides, ok, so the grooms were likely promised kids as well, nope they were full grown men, no link provide for this either, as some times was is seen can never be unseen. Personally since then I have had real trouble maintaining a open mind about religious freedom, really some religions just suck.
I would have to question why some governments fail to ensure religious works within their countries fail to adhere to the principles of law and fail to force religious adherents from editing out those parts of those religious works that incite criminal acts. Sorry bit freedom of religion is not freedom to commit crimes nor is it freedom to incite to commit crimes.
Makes you think what the cloud is doing to the OS server market. It seems only the M$ managed parts of the cloud make M$ any real money and the rest of the cloud is running OSs that keep revenue within those parts of the cloud controlled by those operators. Taking the point of view that the cloud is a whole and not really separated as it is made to appear because you can tie your services to more that just one operator, especially considering the risks of the cloud.
There is also the consideration that a person with that level of indecision is also approaching the Peter Principle, beware of being promoted to your level of incompetence.
A fun environment requires a whole team to achieve. As long as it is a successful fun environment it will likely be difficult to replicate, although you likely could readily completely disrupt the existing working environment by attempting to do so.
Fun is very much a personal thing, what you find fun, others often do not and visa versa. Something director should generally be aware of. Your focus shifting from software to people.
Technically it can until challenge for breach of constitution in the high court. Should the high court be stacked with corrupt judges, who choose to analyse laws upon their own political biases and, their sponsors beliefs in what should have been the intent of those that wrote the constitution, rather than literal interpretations of those laws against a literal interpretation of the constitution. So until the high court of the United States of America is unstacked with corrupt political flunkies, well, then anything goes.
You, like all those other MRE flunkies obviously missed that part about having a far wider range to choose from. Want to achieve particular objectives then select your tinned foods accordingly. Want to be creative with a petrol stove when cooking for a family the select tinned ingredients and cook away. That petrol stove will also be handy if you have a bucket flour, rice or beans, talk about high density storage.
The question here is which Bettina Wulff. First she would have to prove her name unique. Should her name not be unique she should be cited for overweening narcissistic arrogance in failing to take into consideration all the other Bettina Wulffs. As her name is not unique it should be thrown out of court and she should offer an apology to all the other holders of the name for the arrogant attempt of taking globally unique ownership of the name.
Think of a family connection. Four people watching different programs at the same time. Now how many people make or receive phone calls whilst watching a video program. Now add in downloading other software whilst watching a program, just for example legally bought steam games. Now ramp up that phone call to a video call and add in email or something you will see more often now that fibre has become available vid-mail.
Now I wont bother totalling that all up because of course that steam game wants it to be downloaded as fast as possible same with the vid-mail. Of course people will be passing a lot more video around the internet especially with phones becoming much more capable at producing it. Even without wanting maximum download speed for the items mentioned a digital family could readily suck 25 MB download and you can see how burst into 100 MB is desirable when people are waiting for the game they have just bought.
Then of course there are things like scenery channel for people without a view but who have a 90inch LED LCD screen, I have a view and believe me they are well worth it. With falling prices in video displays having a live scenery feed, whilst watching a program are feasible. Just as previewing multiple video streams simultaneously is desirable when possible.
Now add in modern age things like live health monitoring when people are suffering an illness so they can be at home rather than in a hospital or for the elderly. Face it you are the cave man, squatting in a cave not knowing or understanding why people would want to live in a timber framed house, what could they possible need or want that is not provided by a cave.
No, you are just gullible. MREs are basically tinned food in a bag. The reason the military want them in a bag is because they are lighter and take up marginally less space. For civilians where lightness nor space are a consideration, buy tinned food, you will save a lot of money and not be scammed by inflated profit margins just because you bought your food in bags rather than tins. Note you will also get greater variety.
That is tied to how low can they go with the purchase and get stuck with people buying just for fun and never really buying any content, with the whole market being devoted to breaking the device free. How close is the Amazon kindle to buy the device for $500 and get $500 worth of content free or rent the device and as long as your purchases achieve a specific monthly level, the rent is free. So have far off is a whole range of purchase options as designed to gain dominance of the content market, based upon using a synced smart phone as a portable players.
Nothing to do with population density. This is simply what you get when you combine psychophysically run corporations with an autocratic corrupt right wing government, China simply flipped from a left wing to a right wing government, without changing the name plates. The net result of corporations running without any regulation, sure the laws are there but a few dollars and they disappear.
So how much will settle in the riverbed taking decades to either be buried on to reduce to less problematic levels and how much will end up in the sea to effect neighbouring countries. With current global population levels no country has the right to turn the environment into an infinite rubbish.
With computers bigger fleets will not definitely out compete small players. Using computer street maps and GPS, they will be able to accurately and efficiently distribute fares, based upon current locations and destined location of cabs including future bookings. The computer can efficiently allocate all fares to keep the taxi as busy as possible and to build up business based upon reliability of pick up.
Using computers with location and destination incorporated into programming, shared fares will be possible and more readily calculable. Likely shared fares will be strictly account customers, so cheaper cab fares. There is not need for the cab driver to communicate with the call centre unless there is a problem. There current fare should be up on there sat nav screen, showing destination and route and their next fare should simply be added to the output, showing route to pick up and route to destination and even future booked pick up near that destination with a time for pick up. All fully automated, leaving the cab driver to listen to music and just regularly note changes in sat nav screen output.
"The convenience of Windows installs is" you stick in a game designed to run on windows and it installs and plays.
How would I fix a Linux Distribution by hook or by crook, you stick in a game designed to run on windows and it installs and plays.
All the rest is arbitrary and in reality is pretty much already achieved.
Paul Ryan's position on the ticket was more likely straight up bought with campaign dollars as he is totally loyal to a few specific billionaires who don' trust Romney's ties to Bain Capital, when it comes to cash Mitt just can't say no. Not only has Paul Ryan failed to garner any new support he has lost a swag of support especially amongst those who wanted Ron Paul (Ron Paul says what he believes right or wrong, Paul Ryan says what ever he is paid to say apart from the odd trip into pathological lying when under pressure). Another poor choice by the GOP in running mates, there is just no way Paul Ryan can shake his declared love of anything goes Ayn Rand Objectivism and he has now put that taint straight onto Mitt Romney who is now sweating it out with secret tax returns and pretty blatantly tax cheating off shore investments in tax havens. This was always going to be down to the running mates and now you have the ghost of atheist Ayn Rand versus the to inactive invisible man.
Mitt Romney is trying to charge up the far right wing support base not for the votes but for them getting out there and stumping for more votes. Unfortunately this can backfire, sure those radical Tea Baggers might get more people voting but their demanding arrogant attitudes could drive a lot of counter voting, people might claim they'll vote Republican just to get rid of them but on the day vote Democrat to stick it to them.
Typical of US elections just one great big mess, with everyone focusing on mass media negative add campaigns to make up for the lack of actual content and real commitment to promises by the politicians. Paul Ryan really was a mistake no matter how many campaign dollars his masters brought into the election.
So an explosion in the number of excessive use of force cases, as looks like person after looks like person is beaten, tazed and often shot for looking like a person the FBI are after, when the FBI send out the local steroid junkies. What's beating this billion dollar system ends up costing ten times as much in false arrests.
Let's see the patent system was tweaked by lawyers and the net affect has been to generated more gratuitous law suite, somehow I believe those lawyers were 100% successful as far as they were concerned. The whole principle of first to patent rather than first to invent is to generate more court cases and lower the strength of prior art in arguing a case to ensure the case lasts far longer and always generates an appeal.
What blackmail. Very slick stunt, pushing Mitt Romney's tax shenanigans back into the public mind scape. All Mitt has to do is release the Tax Returns to the public, which he obviously really, really, doesn't want to do, this creates great suspicion about the nature of the returns and how much money Mitt has squirrelled away in tax havens without paying any tax on it. The tax returns obviously have very little blackmail value without evidence about Mitt Romney's tax haven income manipulations and financial statements. Seriously if anyone truly wanted to blackmail Mitt Romney they would do it with his off shore tax haven financial records and threaten to send them to the IRS and leave it up to the IRS to make them public when they arrested Mitt Romney for tax fraud.
Did they steal Mitt Romney's tax returns, meh, what for, all they needed to do was make the threat public and driven by guilt Mitt would go all silent and pretend it's not happening whilst various three letter agencies would be forced to act because of the implied threat of persons unknown being able to blackmail the potential president of the United States of America with evidence of his criminal behaviour. Blackmail only really works if you keep it secret, you know, just the perpetrators and the victims. Making it all public kind of mucks up the idea.
Samsung is awkward to describe in marketing terms because unlike Apple they actually manufacture a full range of goods, washing machines, televisions, air-conditioners, fridges etc. right now they are marketing in Australia with the Wallabies the Australian National Rugby Union team and I don't give a crap about sports, so total disinterest. When it comes to smart phones, which I actually am currently looking to purchase it's all about features, so off the bat candy bar, android, > 4.3" screen (I'm older so bigger screen important), repair ability (hmm, nexus bad display fused to screen crack screen ouch big bill). so all about value even Huawei is valid choice. Apple definitely out (even free) with no particular preference for Samsung.
Google's management might be thinking, that Apple should be dead and buried before this kind of product creation kicks off. The market the Aliyun OS is targeted at is not an Apple market, they are are far from it as can be in dollar terms, so it dosen't tackle the big player.
