That's kind of my position actually, gave up on waiting for WP7 and bought a Droid. Which has been very good, but if MS wants a shot at bing my phone again, they got 2 years to wait now.
Anyone know how the liter is doing or the meter? I imagine the liter has had some evaporation or leakage issues and the meter is probably suffering a similar fate as the kilogram (it's measuring stick ends deteriorating).
Indeed. If you feel that way, don't buy their freaking product. Buy a competitor product where you are free to obtain and upload the books yourself then share to your heart's content.
There still isn't any legal platform to do this on as far as I remember. Honestly any ebook reader I see in the market today can pound sand until they give me the option to make permanent one-time moving transfers at a minimum, then giving the recipient that same right.
The group "anonymous" is everyone and it is no-one...it is what was once your devoted fan-base likely. But now that you've threatened them with jail and a pack of angry lawyers they have become defensive and your worst enemy. They are the embodiment of the hearts you are trying to win towards your music and the mass that is disappointed in your reality.
No I'm not doing this, I honestly didn't hear about these attempts until right now...and have never been a big fan of KISS's music from the get go...
Getting to their jobs: Fine we work locally or at home, it's been happening more and more already
Stores: True distribution is a problem, but I walk to ghe grocery store as it is
As far as power goes, most of it is Coal and that is in no danger of running out anytime soon. Nuclear can be brought back online if things get desperate.
Alright so where's the next armageddon scenario I can shoot down...
I'm not sure I get this. Bacteria have far less external environment to worry about than humans do. Bacteria do not have to contemplate to hit or stand at the Blackjack table (for humans it's optional but you get the idea). How does studying an organism that can ride through the majority of its life on a near program with little improvised thought assist in human decision making?
Ok flame me away now...
Tend to agree. As a devoted.NET developer who recently got a droid and (via third party app) watched my droid sync up with my office Exchange Server nearly instantly. I'd been hanging on to my Windows Mobile 6.1 for quite some time, but moving from that to Droid was like taking 20 steps ahead in technology.
Mind you Droid is not without a few quirks, but the differences are phenomenal. Droid is clearly the better platform.
Well no...that's what a Backup is for. SharePoint can back up, no problem, even with their hosted editions you can keep a backup. But if you don't use the backup features, you'll suffer the Sidekick's fate for certain...
Just to clarify a point, to be REALLY sure you want to wipe AND destroy, if there is even a fraction left of a HD platter it might contain a file that a pro could recover given enough time, money and patience.
My thinking is computer science programs need to focus on Programming rather than Language I wish they'd teach just one language regardless of what it is, and teach it well. Rather than try and cram 40 different languages in 4 years. Be that language Java, C#, Fortran, LOLCode, etc...
Within those guidelines, which languages should it be? Probably having to do more with the ethos of the Computer Science program in particular. Do they pride themselves on training for math and engineering? Fortran should be a consideration. Business world? Java or C#. To work for LOLpeople...well you get the idea...
Yeah at this point GPS is so widely used nobody is letting it just go away I'm sure.
Even assuming the government just upgraded to something better and decided to abandon GPS, I'm sure the private industry likely consisting of a consortium of GPS device makers (TomTom, Magellan, Garmin, etc.) would try to step in and launch replacement satellites.
Really, the simple solution would be to tattoo somewhere visibly "if you see me out of my home, I'm lost, call 555-555-1234 please." Could be a problem if a more sane relative is taking her out someplace though "But officer this is my Grandma!"
I dunno, dementia from what I've seen is a more complex disease of the brain. Referene where I talked about my grandma above. She'd be just as likely to put her shoes on as she'd be likely to put her shoes in the refrigerator (I remember her doing that once)....
Exactly, my grandma who was Alzheimer's was notorious for doing just that walking around the assisted living facility in nothing but her underwear, tough deal Alzheimer's is...
My site stats are crap, but there is a small audience. It's about the love more than anything though. As well a way to keep those who care in touch. Yes my ads have earned me a whole zero dollars but I sill hold out hope:-) and Amazon integrates well with my blog anyways.
Took one look at the phone and the $199 price tag and said "ooh cheap SmartPhone", of course than I took a look at the monthly plans that they require with it and realized I'd have to pay nearly double what I give Sprint now per month. Let me know when they're more rational on the monthly plans and I'll go for it otherwise, fuggedaboutit....
If Oracle is about to manage Java the way they manage their database product (basically letting Microsoft get ahead with SQL Server in many respects), I think Java's in trouble with.NET rumbling straight at 'em...
1) If you got the budget, rip it out, replace with Cat6, if Fiber to the home comes to yours, you'll thank me later:-)
2) The intercom idea isn't bad, depends on the size of your house (what happened to "just yelling" sheesh)
3) Just yank out all the copper and sell it, few bucks anyways
At any rate I'd make sure you're real sure you like being away from your landline. Give that decision a 6 month wait period before you decide to recycle your wires one way or another.

Considering how often the Googlebot likely accesses their page, can you imagine the number of Subpoenas? Google will be filing Chapter 11 shortly.

I know I'm gonna get hit for blurting out the Microsoft Solution but...give SharePoint a shot...

Sorry for the terminally lazy out there I have to do this:
the man behind the grassy knoll was abe lincoln

Yeah Oracle's never had injection problems either right....
If Oracle is about to manage Java the way they manage their database product (basically letting Microsoft get ahead with SQL Server in many respects), I think Java's in trouble with .NET rumbling straight at 'em...
I wonder if they'll eventually go commercial with the Opera Turbo feature and offer for a monthly fee only. Try and make up the cost...

Duh-boy, cue debates on how much surveillance for your child is really necessary.
I'd say just let him be a parent and decide what's necessary. He knows his daughter better than we all do.
