This. In Australia on our govt news site ABC there would be an average DAILY analysis or opinion piece on Trump (never favourable or explanatory on any of his positions) since he was elected. I have never seen anything like it.
I do understand your points and why you feel the way you do. I do feel sorry that guns are your "normal". You will never know different and understandably so as it has been ingrained in your society for generations.
From a personal standpoint I am so happy I don't live in the US. There is a definite liberating sense of freedom and peace to live in a society where the thought of needing to lethally protect myself never crosses my mind (as practically no-one else has a gun).
I am from Australia and even our government sponsored ABC News run anti-Trump "opinion" and "analysis" articles daily on their news site http://www.abc.net.au/news/ and have done ever since he was elected. It is ridiculous and shows a complete bias on their part. I don't think there is any maliciousness involved, just a bunch of people involved in an echo chamber constantly reinforcing their group-think.
The ABC's Chris Uhlmann did the Trump G20 "tear down" a few months ago. He then toured the US blowing his own horn, and now works for a commercial TV network here in Aus. If that wasn't enough, the ABC had other "journalists" follow up with more front page "analysis" pieces touting how wonderfully insightful the tear-down was. http://www.abc.net.au/news/201...
The ABS website have even had a sections called "Trumps America" as a way of highlighting him since he took office. http://www.abc.net.au/news/don...
The content has calmed down now since the USA amazingly didn't implode when he took office but look back and see the bias they have run against him since he became president. The language, the content, what news they have chosen to omit.
I have an S6 and am still stuck on Marshmallow. I am in Australia, the phone splash when I turn it on says Optus and my carrier is Virgin. I am hoping if/when I eventually get Oreo it will dramatically improve the upgrade times for future Android versions. I wonder if the upgrade path now will be to skip Nougat and go directly to Oreo.
I agree also, thanks for taking the time out to articulate yourself in posts higher up. I also don't understand why some people are so put out by this submission. It does matter and its important to highlight and analyse incidents such as this.
I don't know if this is Slashdot trolling but these Trump articles need to stop, its getting ridiculous. A better headline would be "Saudi and Iran in cyber shitfight". Trying to shoehorn this into a Donald angle is an overreach.
I typically roll my eyes at USA and all the democracy hurf blurf. I totally expected the media to win this election for the Clintons as it has been so one-sided (even here in Australia). To an unbiased, critical thinker it is obvious and disappointing but I totally expected most "average" people to be "group thinkers" and be suckered in for it.
I watched your election day and was so proud for USA and democracy in general.
I think your post hits this point well and it does not deserve to be downvoted.
It was actually an extremely proud moment watching people voluntarily handing their guns in to their local police station for destruction. No questions were asked by the police about the legitimacy of the gun, they just said thankyou and went about destroying them.
There is no question that our community is safer as a result of this. We also have the mentality that guns are very out of place in general society and if you actually ever see one it is definitely an uncomfortable feeling that you have. I can't imagine what it must be like to just accept that guns are part of your every day life or how that affects your own insecurities.
What would it take to actually get someone to actively pursue something like this?
Which department/agency is responsible for investigating claims like this?
Is it something that our slashdot group could bring to their attention?
Is it a question of money as it would require lawyers to actually do some work before it would be investigated?
What would it actually take to make something happen?
Yeah this is true, but for some of us this is acceptable.
Linux users are an additional market for the product I help develop and we have never really worried about it. I have been waiting for this mono milestone before bothering with mono, however now that they are there I dont mind putting the resources in and testing the waters.
If everything goes smoothly I can see us offering a linux flavour very soon. Our current product operates on.NET Framework 2.0 SP1.
I would rather that the System.Windows.Forms namespace and the IDE be improved to the point where it is good enough to use so I can easily migrate the application I develop to support Linux. We don't have the budget or requirement to rewrite the frontend so if we are ever to support Linux this will be our path forward. I occasionally read the mailing list and the totally out-of-date website waiting for any interesting announcements but it just isn't there yet.
I much prefer a limited response such as a few cruise missiles, than I do the invasion of an entire country at the expense of American soldier's lives.
While I agree with alot of your post, its interesting to note how Americans measure the cost of the Iraq invasion.

Despite your negativity, I myself (as a Windows lead developer) am really looking forward to developing for Linux. Our current client/server software is currently only compatible with Windows and MS SQL Server, however over the next couple of years I am hoping to slowly move our codebase to compile under Mono and support MySQL/PostgreSQL under Linux. We have already tendered a Mono alternative to a large company where a Microsoft solution wasnt an option. Mono is a good thing. It might not be perfect, but is definitely a step in the right direction and will help to bridge the gap between worlds.

But hey, at least it gives content to second rate comedians:

But of course, they have referred the matter to the appropriate law enforcement agency for enforcement?

Agreed. A most excellent summary. Pretty rare these days.
I'll be in the audience. Suggestions on the most effective way to point out flaws in the proposed censorship regime welcome. :)

It all depends on what output you need?
DAD software has the ability to customize data types, multiple inheritance of objects, and to define different relationship types.
You can then trace along object relationships bringing back a dynamic graphic depending on what you want to show (and spit out to PDF).

Well
supernovae . The collapse of these massive stars may produce a neutron star or a black hole .
For a detailed example of supernovae -> black hole, click here.
The fact is however that promotions girls are just tits and ass.
