    The system is about 7 years old and it competes very nicely with a system that is only just barely a year old.

    or play a modern game
    or convert a dvd to divx

    c: is OS, d: is documents (you dont need a reg hack to change the location of 'my documents')
    just right click and move

    great setup, easy to ghost the system drive without all the extras which are backed up elsewhere

    suse and mepis have to setup various hardware and service options ?
    selinux ? support options ? apt-get and debian source compatibility ?

    i was excited about your link, tried the user.js hack, and firefox still uses over 64MB of memory. i use firefox exclusively but it would be nice to reduce that a bit.

    why does this distro matter in the least when I cannot even download it (please dont point me to the eval)
    are there any improvements over SuSe ? Partioning ? Hardware support ?
    good grief. The review ended before it began.

    can you submit a link to the papers proving Novell owns Unix copyrights ? I had not heard that and cant find anything to back it up.
