    Even thought I live in a country were democracy works (Thought I hate that various parties joins and make the more important part of our government together, so say the party which got 20, 15, 10 and 8% of the votes wins and decide the most stuff together instead of the parties which got 34 and 13% for instance. First of it's a little weird that a party which haven't got the most votes is in charge and secondly I would had prefered if noone of them "allied" and everyone voted on everything according to their share of the votes, for instance say the first 20 and 15% of either parties thought one thing and all the others another thing, now those 35% in total will decide what it will be even if the other 65% didn't thought the same thing...)
    Flawed...

    OS X already has support for 128 and 256 bit AES encrypted virtual volumes, and maybe real ones to, I think, so I guess it's not that important/needed.

    I used to save my passwords and stuff in an GPG encrypted text file aswell, thought I guess that you should have the key somehwere else and never use it on the machine, because if someone could have access to your data they could probably have access to your key and be able to install a keylogger aswell, so you may be screwed anyhow.

    I would have bought it as webserver, would probably be "free" in the end due to lower power requirements anyway.

    And if not atleast quiter and smaller (I guess, haven't looked at it yet.)

    Well, since I'm from Sweden we have our share of high income taxes aswell ;)

    I guess you are correct regarding infra structure, our country are probably around 1/20 as big and has a little over 9 million people, and that's not dense at all compared to almost any other part of the world ;)

    Stuff like this, security page of OpenBSD and Moores movies makes it seem like Canada may indeed be the heaven of earth. Sure we (Sweden), Finland and a few other countries may be quite good aswell. Are there anything bad with Canada? Except that you suck in hockey? (JK, I don't watch sports and don't care ;D)

    It's nothing weird with requiring a non-standard memory card.

    Yeah, but remember that we have 3% intelligent and 3% manipulative elite, I guess there are no need for the last 3% but anyway, say there was!

    In this case if everyone follows his example by killing 8 people each and then themself that would add up to 6*9 people each out of 100 or 54%. So then we get a world with the rest 46% of which 3*100/46 = 6.5% are very stupid people and the rest 93.5% are mediocre people!

    What a great switch!

    I guess he should had studied more math.

    (I sort of hate doing fun of this considering people actually did and some people on this forum may have been their friends, school mates, family and so on. My appologies to those people.)

    The question is what will happen to the progress bar/counter when you do that? What time will it measure? Is this why the files appear to be gone / not at the destination yet?

    It can't be that more mitochondria leads to less work at each for the same amount of energy consumtion in the cell and therefor less wear on whatever? But I had the impression the higher oxidisation was the problem, but them I'm no biology guy so what do I know :)

    So when I drag an application to /Applications all its libraries aren't copied there but instead into my home dir to prevent users from changing/messing them up against each other?

    Or are they still just copied to /Applications and all users can do whatever they want with them?

    I'm a new mac user ;D

    Normal apps doesn't require a rootuser (thought I find it's weird and probably more insecure that they don't.)

    Somehing like a codec or system utility does. Or well, actually I don't know what apps does or not, but a few does ;D

    I don't hear my harddrive, I've heard it some time I think but I would never know if it turned of.

    Ok, thanks for your information, and yes, it would indeed be weird if Apple used defaults which was very bad for the hardware, even if it could save some battery time.

    (BTW it also sleeps on cable I belive, maybe I should turn that of?)

    Yeah, may be thru "defaults" command but why not show the options? It's so annoying everything isn't there in OS X, and that it ships without manuals to read thru =P
