No, they are agruing that whatever you create doesn't belong to you.
I am waiting for the next SCO press conference where McBride will announce that "all your bases now belong to us".
PS: M$Bride knows that the only way they can getout of prizon sentence in the end is to demonstrate their insanity now. So far it's working well...
Life expectancy relates to two things: natural factors (body wear, desease...) and other (car hitting you at 90 MPH, you jumping from 20th story window).
While "breakthrough" research can get rid(or minimize) the impact of natural factors (through medicine), the other factors are still unchanged (mostly).
What's at the end of the universe: blue screen.
the guy also believe so, based on one of his answers:)

And yet you can't scream "fire" in a packed movie theater.
Based on your observation, ANY speech should be free, even if it endangers others.
But then again, this is slashdot (i.e. "information wants to be free")
PS: I do think that this guy went up the river unlawfully...
I agree. This is mainly done to jack up SCO's stock prices. Therefore, I assume there will be a large dump of stock (after it will rise 5-10%) by SCO's CEO and other high end officials.
This is another example of why stock trading should be done only by intelligent people. Bying into hype (think dot.com) is not a healty way of making money.
PS: SCO is going down, and everybody know it (including SCO). The question is: will they drag Linux too....
Look, I would be also "dissapointed" if somebody would destroy my money strategy. All SCO is saying is that "We can sue you, but you shouldn't sue us since" since we can't fight your claims in court.
I still believe that Red Hat SHOUDLN'T have sued SCO. Red Hat is going to be drained of money for a loooong time in court. Or do you simply think that by suing, they would win in a few weeks.
Prepare for a long winded fight in which SCO will do ANYTHING in it's power to smear Red Hat.
In the long run, it's not who is right, it's who looks good in the end....
I don't know if fighting was such a good idea for Red Hat. While Sco's stock have fell over 15%, Red Hat's stock have fell over 4% too. I believe that it will be a prolonged legal battle that will leave both companies very low on finances, which might even spell for Red Hat's demise (or at least decline)....
You don't understand... RIAA doing everybody a favor: They are trying to "dissuade" people from sharing music by crappy artists.
Repeat after me: I am not a lab mouse in a maze...

and don't mod their OS with counterstrike.
(I can see it now: a six-legged robot jumping up and down and screaming FRAG MODE ACTIVATED!!!)
They operate on the idea: cash now, Bubba (from cellblock B) later.
keep reading slashdot at your current rate, and the stress from work isn't going to be a problem :)

Please correct me if I am viewing it incorrectly.
That people are switching to Linux doesn't make them automatically good. The software will become cheaper and cheaper, and so will we.

they are fighting poverty by spending less on MS.
finally: a player with 2 weeks of continuous music.....
because it would be hard to "ensure" that the "correct" political figure would win. Repeat after me: my vote counts....

Praying would help. Let me help you along: O great server in the sky, Lin'box your name; grant me this wish....
