    I configured the samba server and setup a windows share. You can then play your recorded shows on any pc or tv on your network.

    Why would anyone pay you? If they're willing to ignore laws and the police don't care one of them might be willing to come and destroy your equipment. Or hurt you. Speed bumps seem like a much better solution to me.

    Nope, never worked for or owned a game company.

    So in summary:
    If you don't get what you want it's "abuse".
    You don't care about anyone but yourself.

    Thanks! I've been thinking about creating a game. You've been very educational.
    Now I see what I can expect in the customer support if I start a game company.

    You've obviously given this no thought from any viewpoint except your own. If a game published no new content, or no content that was any better or different than what was currently available, then people would rapidly become bored and quit. The business owners have to earn money from the
    game or they would just get jobs somewhere else. Of course there's going to be new and better content. Further, their model works, as evidenced
    by the fact you bought one of their games even after they "cheated" you of your expected reward. Look up "Rationalization" and "Sour Grapes" and see
    if they apply to anyone you know.

    You really should use correct grammar if you're going to criticize others for their reading skills.
    The conversation wasn't that hard to follow. As others have pointed out his comments were intended
    to convey additional information about the environment for gaming in other countries.

    If he's got little cash and a wired phone is cheaper the rational solution would be to get one.
    He almost certainly does not really need a mobile phone, he merely wants one, because it's cool and it will help him do things other than study. ;)

    Not a few loaded words in that reply. There are "legitimate" questions? Their lawyers think there aren't. Further, if a case could be made, why has it not been brought? Laches will come into play and it will get dismissed.

    Steve is a rich guy who isn't used to having his opinions questioned. I don't work for him so I can be honest. He's being a jerk.

    * Right now there are jobs for low skill levels and high skill levels. In the middle is tough.
    * Review your resume. This is what they will look at before deciding to interview you. Ask friends to read it and critique it. Read web sites about effective resume writing.
    * Work on open source side projects that interest you (and look good on a resume). You will gain experience and have something to show you aren't afraid of work and are interested in your profession. If you're off playing a game with a ball, wasting time on WOW, etc. you're doing nothing that will help your career.
