    it's like $3.50 here during the day, at night it's $5 but for students it's still $3.50. Popcorn is like 5 bucks for the equivalent of a bag of microwave popcorn though.

    They are playing "Smokin in the boys room" by motley crue on the radio right now. I am deeply appaled by this song right now, as I was in the boys room takin a dump, when i heard a big explosion and I ran out with my pants down. It was the most embarrassing moment in my life and now that I hear this song I think im gonna kill myself.

    techno music sounds great with ogg. you will not be able to tell the difference between your ogg file and the actual cd.

    I encode everything with ogg vorbis now. No, you don't have to give up your mp3's. I still have a lot of them. I still download them. But i only encode ogg now, and I would advise others to do so too. If you are looking for a free open-source, easy to use encoder for windows, check out cdex http://cdex.n3.net. It is one of the best cd rippers / encoders out there. We all need to tell our friends to encode ogg now. It sounds much better than mp3.. it is great.

    slackware is definately the best distro to start out with, and to stay with. After you've used slack for a while, and try another distro.. you will appreciate the simplicity of slackware.

    The only computer software I've ever bought have been maybe 2 or 3 games. That's about it. Never paid for windows 2000, never paid or linux. Why should I pay when I can get it for free? Yeah I know a programmer's gotta eat, but I haven't seen any starving programmers lately.

    Got mine at best buy for about 27 bucks. Only the first 75,000 will be in the limited edition tin though. After that the special edition will be in normal case, so get yours now.

    If you can hook up an IDE hard drive to the DC, you should be able to hook up a DVD-ROM too. Sure, you'd probably have to load some dvd software every time you turned it on, but It should work. Now you can have all the features of the Playstation 2, plus online play. So far I haven't seen any PS2 games that look better than the DC version, so basically you'd have a PS2 for under $200.

    If anyone has the Apex AD800 DVD player, take it apart, you will notice it uses a standard ide dvdrom. Pretty cool eh.

    Hell yeah, I am on Windows XP beta2 right now, and using Mozilla instead of that sneaky evil IE. The interface might still be a little sluggish, but It's not that bad really. I've not had it crash yet.

    In a normal emulator setup, you would still need an access card to generate the decryption keys, since that part of the card has never been emulated. But with this, you can have one card send the data to many different recievers via tcp. Excellent!

    In the next version of AOL, AOL 7.0, they are working on making it where you can choose which browser you want to use. I have an early leaked version, and even though I don't think its implemented yet, it's definately on their todo list.

    My apps come w/ their own widget libraries. All hand coded in pure x86 assembly language. No need for portability. My platform is the ONLY platform. Have fun with your GTK+ QT Motif premade toolkits, script kiddie tools. C, C++, cobol. You are all a bunch of script kidides. Fucking posting an article that was already posted over a year ago here on slashdot. If you really gave a shit about motif, you would have known this is OLD news, and it is not news for nerds! Real nerds do not need premade tool kits. They do not even need X for that matter. But that is another article entirely. He should have checked all the previous articles posted here on slashdot. But he didn't, and now we have a problem because we have a duplicate article.
