Something about how real masked vigilante would be, the fetichist, oversized-ego, psycho-past, nostalgic underwear-over-pants kind, and the problems they would have if they really existed. Add to that an intrigue and a very good naration, and you have one of the most incredible novel ever written.
Oh and it's 11$ on amazon (the whole 12 chapter in one tome) in paperback. Make yourself the pleasure of increasing your culture;)
I would automatically shriek with horror seeing a NT4 SP6 server in any environment. After taking full control of a domain controller with a simple SMB exploit that existed since 2004, my net admin would too.
And are we that much surprised that the RIAA is against a plan to destroy its own corporation and core business model? Wouldn't you have the same reaction if you were becoming suddenly irrelevant?
Though the motherboard that will support 64Gb of RAM cost more than this baby here. And we're not talking about the OS to support those. In a server environment, I can see a use for faster disks when memory is maxed out.
Bullshit = what obama offered for votes. Freedom of you&me = what obama offered to the highest bidder (to MS, RIAA, MPAA, etc so we'll hear a lot more from him soon enough).
Oh yeah, the old "that guy offered you bullshit for votes" argument, hiding the opinion that you should have voted for that other guy. "Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos..."
If you think my mom or my bro (the "common" people in those kind of statistics) would spend more than 300$ on headphones, you're sorely mistaken. To those it matters, go buy some FLAC and don't bother spending your money on iTunes.
More registers, along others things. Which makes the compiler performs further optimizations. Some say they've seen 15% speed increase from the same source (with GCC).
Yeah, and the space occupied by the rest of the air in the laptop takes space. Is not that removable batteries take space, it's more like you have to limit yourself to a square accessible space instead of filling every corner inside the laptop. Which would take around 40%, take or less. Even more on a 17" laptop, where there is a lot of emptiness inside...
Personally, I've seen enough embedded compilers to know they don't do much more optimization than "hey look! a plus sign, lets put an ADD r01, r02 in there"...
Most embedded compilers can't tell the difference between a const pointer and a reference...
A Metis or something close to that word if it doesn't fit black-white parents. I never said mixing between races was impossible, I just stated that they exist. Damn, I've been in love with black girls (I'm caucasian) and I didn't see anything wrong with that; they were fantastic. Hell, I'm the first to ask that we just all fuck each others until we're all the same color (this in answer to your accusation of me being racist).
Ignoring that races exist won't solve the problem by itself. Accepting that they are morally equal or equivalent will. There are differences, though; how many white people owned the 100m world record?
It's like saying that "telling you what sex you are is sexist". Treating sexes as inexistent will not solve sexism, treating them with equal rights and moral values will. Same with races, same with age, same with religion.
Although I consider there _are_ races (did you see a black and white aside lately? they are different), I agree that while muslim is not a race, this is a hate-crime.
Wikipedia describes muslim has (aside credibility arguments):
A Muslim (Arabic: Ù...ØÙÙ...âZ), pronounced/ËmÊSslÉm/, is an adherent of the religion of Islam.
How is booting someone out because of his religion different than kicking him because of his race?
I dunno. A buddy of mine had 3 kernel panics this year under OSX, and I have had zero under Linux. I'm convinced.
Oh I've seen my share of kernel panics in both OSes. And I've seen my shares of 0 panics in both too. You just have to be conscious about what you put in kernel space... the only time I had panics in either OSes is because I had installed sh!t or weird drivers from bizarre vendors. The kind of driver you shouldn't let eat after midnight and shouldn't get wet either.
Actually, OSX is UNIX (BSD) under the hood. There are different tools (launchd, domain tools, net tools), but many well-known are there (samba, cups, PAM, ldap, etc).
People are afraid of it as a server option because it has a pretty interface, but if you ssh on one for more than 5 minutes you'd see it's pretty much unix-solid for server solutions. And if you like pretty interfaces, OSX Server is basically the same OSX with GUI tools added that calls/config the cli tools behind. It's the same tools, easier to manage/maintain.
Personally, between a Linux and an OSX server to admin I just flip a coin if there is no price difference.
Who're "us"? You got a turd in your pocket?
Something about killing superheroes?

Be kindle in your pinches. Or just squint a bit.

This is not "pimp my router".
Yo Dawg! I heard you liked security, so I put a WPA2 in your WRT so you can feel safe whenever you browse porn!
Oh yes, and I laugh every time.

We already know your username, you don't have to put your stamp on every post of yours.
I thought stamps was necessary to post messages on the billboard...
Prepared statements are not exclusive to Java.
Shhh... He's a Java programmer, don't tell him there are other languages out there, he's gonna screw them up.
I'm kind of sad about that, I really wanted it to be true. :/
Should've been TX, not WY
Common typo.
I'm the bastard child of a hammer and a screwdriver, you insensitive clod.

Regarding the time circuits, how did it determine the current time? ;-)
By working with the car clock, duh...

Woah man. Yesterday? That's like so loooong ago... I can't even remember what's not on the first page...
He's just happy to see you.

What "race" is Obama? Tiger Woods?

Anecdotical facts are no proof of anything.
