Now we can have the biggest Red vs. Blue CTF game ever. Altough Red does have a advantage with a smaller base to defend.

"Kidding aside, war is an especially brutal undertaking. Especially in the 20th century when modern warfare techniques began to involve far more civilians than combatants. I think that games should avoid glorifying war. Since they are art, they should still portray it but without the whitewashing" This is true there has been no games like this in nature. Aside from all the fictional war games ie. RTCW. But the new game called call to duty while still glorfying has the potential in a mod to so what happens to a certain extent. Any game will never show the 100% nature of war.

  4. Re:And how is this different from any other war ga on Vietnam-Based Shooters - A Suitable Topic? · · Score: 1

Well in all fairness war is bad however WWII was seen as "black and white" and Vietnam not so much however if you thought about war in the manner of who your enemy is as an individual solider then you would never want to play any war game. Think about it do you really think every single german wanted to fight. In Band of Brothers they have a kid not more then 25 who was in America then his family moved to Germany to fight alongside the Germans, he did not want to himself. Some germans knew nothing about why they were fighting they just did what was right in thier country, you see in that one soldiers eyes he was doing what he though was right fighting for his country and saving his life. The only reason Vietnam is so contrivesal is because of the way it was handled in the end. We went there to protect people jsut like WWII but unlike WWII those heroes who came home got nothing.

It seems you have to open the whole doors, front and back, to get access to your pci cards or usb so if you were to use a mouse the door would be completely open which would gather more dust since there are no fans blowing it away. It also looks like the heatpipes release thier heat on the exterior of the case which sucks after a lan party and you want to go home but have to wait for your case to cool down before you can touch it. Man just buy a quite fan for crying out loud.

Well let's see here if say my plant was going to get rid of all our windows machines and switch to some nix machines we would have more problems then you might think. Unless your just being a stubborn nix player. You see my plant runs off a Access Database and I know the nix machines can run any Microsoft program but your talking about training hundreds of employes how to use nix every time season rolls around that is jsut absurd. However good nix is on an indvidual basis it is not holding well with a full on coporation.

While all this true (I don't use a single PCI slot on my Machine [gotta love asus]) I am just saying that when the fx series came out it everyone pointed to that fact which I thought was absurd much as a I do now the blower on the model card looked cool to bad it was a really noisy card.

  8. Well look what we got here. on High End Silent Cooling For Graphics Cards · · Score: 1

First of all the GPU cooler in use is similar in technology to the heat sink used in Shuttle systems. Furthmore while this GPU cooler has low noise levels it takes up a lot of space it seems, blocking at least one PCI slot. This was a problem for a lot of people who saw the GeForce FX series of heat sinks for the first time. So I find it funny if ATI card holders did not care or something. But yeah the worst thing you have to worry about as far as noise is your power supply. My Asus FX card is damn near unregconizable comapred to my CPU Heatsink (its the loudest thing at 31 dcp) So sucks to you.

On this topic here you do not need dual 2ghz processors to run a text document, its true that Mac has great visual editing programs and thats why its used but in regards to people who ask "with these benchmarks why would you use a PC" well it's a simple answer . . . we can play more games and don't have to wait years for their outdated arrival on Mac. So for the Mac lovers who say all PCs suck, I say to them "Hey go play Half-life 2 or Half-life for the matter and get back to me"

Well back a few decades ago the head commisoner of US patenets said that everything has been invented. He of course was wrong like Bill Gates infamous quote. It's not so much that no great inventions are coming out more like improvements and diffrent versions of older inventions. Like a patch file for your game. The article talks about the whole Audi having way to much useless technology, but the fact the chair adjusts to your settings is just an improvement on the sliding chairs, it's like a hands-free version. I don't know it sounds to me like the author can't handle the technology.
