    They're confused with the definition of death. In my opinion, the best definition comes from cyronics: Information Theoretic Death.

    WRT these pig brains, they're experiencing iscemic damage that may result in infodeath, but it's a slide into that vs a singular moment of death. Of course some cells still work, only 4 hours passed from loss of blood flow.

    It is junk science, some creatures can indeed be frozen and revived because of unique properties of their physiology. Humans cannot.

    So far it has been proven that organs can be cryopreserved and restored to full function. A rabbit kidney was extracted, cryopreserved to liquid N2 temps, re-warmed, and implanted into a living rabbit.     ...a game we use to play called DANGER NUT.

    Materials Required:
    • Beefy screwdriver.
    • Steel Nut of choice.
      1. Deadly (1" nut)
      2. Destructive (3/4" nut)
      3. Dangerous (1/2" nut)
      4. Get Down! (1/3" nut)
      5. Fun (less than 1/4" nut)
    • 700psi air connection.
    • Relatively tight quarters (We were on a submarine).

    Instructions:
    • Place nut through beefy screwdriver.
    • Put nut+screwdriver combo next to high pressure air outlet.
    • Throttle air to spin nut up.
    • Watch and listen as nut gets to insane speeds.
    • Shut air valve.
    • Throw nut from screwdriver.
    • Take cover!

    Hours of fun, as I'm sure you can imagine.

    Take a look at this. Also check out this.

    It really is a heightened awareness that you get when you run brakeless on a fixed. You learn how to predict traffic patterns, pedestrians habits, and other crap that could get in your way. It makes you constantly think, 'If that car did X, I would do Y'.

    As far as chain breakage, I've only had it happen once. I was taking off and was not going too fast, so fortunately I was able to stop no prob.

    You can do it on the cheap by flipping your drops over, and sawing them off. That's what I did. Of course, I really didn't care about the drops that came on the bike...they were too small. But as bullhorns, they rock.

    Nice fixie. I just finished my fix about 6 weeks ago.
    Since the pics, I've flipped and chopped the handlebars for skidtastic fun.

    Not quite 15lbs, but close at 18.

    Check out these. I use an ErgoXRay velcro'd to my helmet. Three AA's last 3-4 weeks of nightly commutes/rides. It will light your way if there aren't any streetlights. And it will most certainly make you seen in traffic.
