It's not years and years behind iphone in basic reliability, it doesn't freeze/crash or have data loss. If you aren't using a stock Android device, you can't blame Android itself. I have been using Android since Jan of 2009 and have become highly educated in this platform. I see more of these incorrect statements all the time. These phones also are not just for geeks. I've heard nothing but praise from non technical people I know irl, and they have been totally happy with the *EASE OF USE* Android provides.

i'm talking about games that never even MAKE IT to the apple side. there's endless amounts of titles that never make it to apple hardware, so it is crippled in that regard.
look, they find out later, or they don't go to the movie, it doesn't matter what you think about who or who shouldn't receive an emergency call. there was a time years ago, when people could exist perfectly fine without a stupid cell phone. you don't have to break it down like some idiot over analyzer and start asking stupid questions like what constitutes an emergency. if you're worried something might happen, DON'T LEAVE YOUR HOUSE.

no one cares how much money was spent, i can't justify using apple hardware because it's a crippled machine in which you can't even fully utilize the hardware, gaming in particular. it's like having a lamborghini with the front left wheel and tire missing from the axle.

i'm tired of slashdot trying to take credit for stories or pages that were available way before they ever even knew they existed. all i ever see now is 'originally slashdot had this news story 5 years ago' blah blah blah, no one cares. quit taking credit from other pages
I don't think I've read anyone's post on here before that has had such a warped way of looking at everything. We don't live in a communistic society, one person shouldn't sacrifice his well being in order to help out society in general, especially if it won't even last.
everyone has the wrong idea about apple.
if they are the ferrari of computers, then they come equipped without a steering wheel, because you can't even utilize the machine fully like you can with a PC.
who cares about apple. people follow apple almost like it's a fad. they aren't superior machines, you can't play games, you can't do as much as you can on a pc. im glad more of microsoft's software is being taken away from them.
