    Quite frankly what I'd want is my bank having its own root cert that was self signed. I can confirm with my bank that I've got the right cert.

    So you trust your bank even when it issues signed and "trusted" certificate of www.otherbank.com

    So let's see if I understand your double standard.

    There are things that people can't sell. This do-not-sell list includes friendship, trust, love, respect and many other things. Sale of things from do-not-sell list does not transfer them to purchaser. It transfers only some corrupted version of them.

    I haven't said anything about seller. He might lose his friends too, if he tries to "sell" them.

    Yeah we do, but sane geeks prefer stable OS on their workstation and install new OSes on test machines or virtual hosts.

    it is cheaper to taste domain by paying 20c instead of full registration price.
    It prevents perpetual tasting. 20c * 365/5 = 14,6 USD.

    Then why they dont sell them in my country stores. Even wholesalers don't list office upgrades. Plus 239 USD is not equal to 290.95 EUR.

    And it supported (and supports) its customers extremely well.

    Do you have some six figure contract with Microsoft? Are you their only contractor with tactical nuclear weapons? :)

    They work with you only because it is safer and more profitable to do that way. Others are not that lucky. Office upgrades cost the same as full Office versions. Other software vendors make changes in their products that force people to buy more expensive Microsoft software even when existing software has all the features that are needed to run Autodesk Data Management Server 2009.

    And render correctly, just like if you created a W3C-compliant HTML 4 document with a W3C-compliant CSS style sheet that displays correctly in every other browser other than IE, right?
    Combine text-decoration: strikethrough; with text-align: justify; and test Gecko. Or check how Opera works with positioned background-image.

    Did they fix the bug where Safari installs as an iTunes update?
    New (released more than one month ago) Apple Software Update has two sections. One for updates and other for new software. When Safari was introduced, Software Update had only one section.

    I don't understand the complaints about the awesomebar. You can still type in URLs like you always did. The only difference is that now as you start to type the URL in, it's more likely that the place you wanted to go will pop up for you to select.
    When I type URL in location bar, I expect that only URLs are suggested. If I wanted to search for something, there is other text box.

    How much would they add as a surcharge to ship any model I choose WITHOUT a Microsoft operating system on it?

    46 USD, if they have corresponding nSeries model. Compare Dell Precision Workstation T3400 525W with T3400 nSeries 525W. Same price difference on 375W models. Vista with XP upgrade costs more that RHEL Workstation.

    You might have to pay ungoddy amount of dollars if they don't have corresponding nSeries model.

    I use Outlook daily on my work laptop, while I have Lightning installed on my personal machine. One of them wins hands down as a productivity tool.
    I suspect that you don't use Outlook. You use Outlook and Exchange.

    I can't download and keep my extensions for future install. I really don't like using up bandwidth downloading the same extensions each time I install Firefox.

    1. You don't lose installed extensions each time you upgrade firefox. They are installed in your user's profile.

    2. You can download and keep your extensions. Just download xpi files instead of installing them.

    Company: Our marketing and sales department f...ed up and we had to burn all Corel Essential boxes, because people stopped buying full CorelDRAW versions and bought Corel Essentials + CorelDRAW upgrades. Thank you for using our products. If you need minimal Corel version to read cdr files, buy full CorelDRAW version.

    Some people would argue that using Slackware for this is crazy, but (a) Slackware is a lean and mean developement platform, and a very lean Linux distribution and (b) it will teach you a lot of things about Linux, and UNIX in general.
    It won't be lean and mean after you install mono with slackbuild. Box that is supposed to be basic + mono + gui will also have lots of C development tools.

    This forces users of version 'N' to upgrade to version 'O.' -- Profit for Microsoft.
    And Microsoft does not sell Office upgrades. Try upgrading, if your SA is expired or you have outdated OEM version. "Upgrade" costs same amount of money as full retail version.

    RBL filters work during SMTP dialog. RBLed address gets 5xx or 45x error.

    Geforces are optimized for gaming (directx and your FPSes). Quadros are optimized for CAD (opengl). If same gpu is compared, memory bandwidth, FLOPS and fill rate are similar. Price is 400 USD for Geforce vs 2000-2500 USD for Quadro.
