I'm still freaked out about that blind three-headed monster that you had to distract with grenades.
Who could forget trying to make their way silently around that thing?
Talk about tense moments...although I guess it really isn't a boss, it felt like one, and it was definitely more imaginative than the usual thing you just have to find a weak spot on to kill.

  2. Re:VoIP has a long road ahead of it... on Why VoIP Makes Telecom Regulations Irrelevant · · Score: 1
Traditional phone service costs me $20/mo for unlimited local calls -- and I can get a line for as low as $13/mo with restrictions on outgoing calls. So the VoIP product is more expensive and less reliable -- features are great, but for myself and many others, reliability and price are probably the two biggest considerations when choosing a phone service.
My fiancee currently lives 2 hours away from me. I'm a college student, she's a teacher at a high school. Neither of us have a lot when it comes to money, so something like VoIP is, for me at least, a very big deal - for $20/month, I can talk with her as much as I'd like. Still doesn't help with the sleeping arrangements, unfortunately. :(

Didn't you mean to say "Please support PDOSAI/GNU for Aibo and all other robots."? I think we need some new acronyms. The old ones are just boring.

Yes, it does need an IRC client. I managed to convince the IT staff at work to install mozilla on my computer, boasting of the integrated mail client, etc...now I can feed my IRC addiction at all hours. ...although what this says about my company's IT staff is rather depressing.

  6. Carpal Tunnel on Flexible Computers in the Future? · · Score: 1

It seems like a design like this would contribute MORE to the problem of CTS. The repeated "commands" would all involve twisting the wrists, wouldn't they? ...and can you imagine the the increase in CTS when the adult entertainment industry gets their hand (no pun intended) on these?
