Iraq was wrong, I'm not a pacifist, just realize that they were poor and not as much of a threat as they were made to be. The world had no problem with us routing the Taliban. Iraq has made us worse off. I know several people personally that travel abroad and there jobs have gotten much harder because when people realize they are American they cool down to them. Bush may be a decisive leader but he doesn't make good decisions.

Do those accounts you talk about have full administrator privileges or do they have a mechanism similar to sudo on UNIX? The default account you create does have administrative privileges. I think you'll find Microsoft touting ease of use and a shallow learning curve as benefits to their software. The reality is that Microsoft ships with user created accounts running as administrator. Why do you think it's to hard for them to implement a concept such as SUID to avoid this?

Insightful??? Give me a break. How many companies do you think can stand to have the IT staff keeping a database of all the current versions of all kernels and apps on all systems? Those IT people would then have to keep up on all the errata for all those versions. They would then need to grab the latest source for kernel/app X to build and install it across all the machines that need it. Support and service are popular for a reason.
