I think the real difference here is between large and small business. Many of the things you say are true of small businesses; they need rules that allow them to grow and compete. In many ways, an environment that benefits small business also benefits the consumer and economy in general. However, this is at direct odds with large businesses, who do everything they can to kill competition and, in effect, a healthy business environment. Now can you guess which group (large or small business) has the largest voice in Washington?
That isn't correct either. They later removed pieces of the PS2 hardware which were emulated, but it still required some of the original chips. No version of the PS3 has ever had pure software emulation.
Fine, but how does that relate to mental suffering or a diminished home value. To me, that sounds like trespassing (a criminal issue) and is completely unrelated to the pictures from a legal perspective (though IANAL).
It isn't a pack-in so people actually bought it. Also, the Wii itself likely sold over 100 thousand units. The sales of Wii Sports has been a pretty good indicator for actual Wii sales and since it's up from last week (Wii Sports ~ 58,000 and Wii ~ 102,000) I can see it selling well over 100k units.
Require us to retype squiggly letters that are virtually impossible for humans to decipher when signing up for new accounts. (Note to Microsoft: This means you.)
These stupid things get me every time. It usually takes me at least 3 tries and I think Yahoo's are the worst.
7) I can't speak for other others, but I have not encountered this. And I have been using Firefox 2 for well over a month, ever since RC1 was spun in mid-late September. Keep in mind that most of the bugs that people report with Firefox are actually the result of crappily-developed extensions.
It is not an extension issue. I got FireFox 2.0 the day it came out and it has been freezing constantly. The only extension I have installed is the Google toolbar. I don't have any other extensions or themes installed and this is a relatively fresh install of Windows (two days before I installed FF). This thing has already frozen four times this morning. However, my wife also upgraded and has multiple extensions and hers has not frozen once. Don't know what it is but its bad.
There are lots of "wrong" scientific theories out there no matter how you define "wrong". Peak oil, pyramids, bigfoot, what makes the stock market move, the composition of the earth's core. Take your pick but I don't see the same level of emotions.
When a group of people try to put forth bigfoot as fact in science classes then you'll see just as much outrage.

Just removing my misplaced 'informative' mod.
Am I the only dyslexic fool that was a little confused that the role was being given to the Fresh Prince.

Maybe they keep them so they can catch all those sneaky corpses that keep digging themselves up to vote.
