The nice thing about that device, is while yes, you have the YaSQTK, you also have the option of plugging in a full size standard USB keyboard, and mouse, and using it just like a laptop. And if i'm not mistaken, it's also got the video port on it, so you can plug a monitor into it and use it just like a laptop (hopefully, i'm still talking about the same device). What's your beef with Qwerty Thumb keyboards anyway? I find them very easy to use (as long as they're laid out correctly (unlike the Sony Clie, IMO).

I don't see any difference from them handing you a two way radio to get ahold of you, except that the phone looks a little more "prefessional" in a way. No, i'm not a supervisor where I work, but I do feel that my supervisor has the right to get ahold of me whenever s/he needs to, as that is their job, to make sure i'm doing mine, etc.

The culture of the company is another story, but as I noted above, the company could just as well use two way radios for the supervisor to get ahold of you, but then you would be carrying two devices instead of one.

I think everyone is using the wrong term, including the media. They gained a SERVICE MARK (SM) not a TradeMark (TM). Service Marks are used to describe a service that a provider offers. This would make it impossible for other cellular companies to use the terms they registered. It would not make it illegal for ham radios, cb's, two way radios (truned or FRS), etc etc etc to use the term as they are not in the same "business" as a cellular provider is. It only entails to competition. And I feel that Nextel only got the registration so that they could keep the other cellular companies from using "their" terms. I hardly doubt they would go after the other people that use it as that would just raise one massive uproar and a whole heap of *blah*..

So, are you just not paying your bill(s)? Or are you still sending them the money you owe them.. If you signed a contract, I'm sure there was something in there that states you will pay your dues even if they fail to send you a bill, cause you should know the bill exists. Then again, I had a similar problem with a gas card, they didn't send me bills, and I didn't send them money for what I owed them. Equifax agreed with me, and cancelled their collections notices that were on my credit report.. Equifax only did this because I notified Texaco that they weren't sending me bills 3 times every month, for 3 months and got no response from them. I proved my communications by cellular records, faxes sent and email time stamps. Texaco finally sent me a bill after Equifax had a nice chat with them :D (not that that had anything to do with the topic, but it had some relevance)
