you see... paradoxically, Sveltana Tsalik, and the Caspian Revenue Watch, believes that oil is likely to harm development in the Caspian Sea Region, which is likely to have enormous oil reserves, and she bases this on observation that developing economies that were "blessed" with abundant natural resources, such as oil, were considerably burdened with the consequences of that wealth, including corrupt political regimes, unwelcome foreign intervention driven by special interests, significantly impaired democracy and human rights record, et cetera et cetera...
Sounds much like the situation in the middle east right now where oil has harmed development for decades and the west has supported corrupt, undemocratic regimes and turned a blind eye to human rights violations for the sake of stability and for the sake of trade contracts.
Maybe the Middle East will be better off without the Oil.
As someone whose dietary intake of "meat" only includes fish, i don't eat chicken or red meat and therefore i consume fish almost daily, my main curiosity in that list is... i wonder which ones tastes better and are good for health...
why isn't this off-topic... there's winamp 5 which is the best media player i've ever seen. And i did try quintessential player but it's pretty lame and mediocre.
It's remarkable how things are so much more expensive in one region than another; at least it's a slight delight that in england, for once, something is cheaper. Well, don't be upset americans, for almost everything else it's way cheaper in the US than elsewhere.
i uninstalled it within an hour. On the same day however, i installed and i kept was the beta release of Winamp version 5 which is posted on betanews.com; yes heard that right, they skipped 4 and went straight to 5, and it's amazing!
Those panasonic toughbooks are built for the adventurous some who might use them on mount everest and similar places; they're not designed to play games or any such activities. Enough processing power to run that statistical package and acccess the net on a satelite connection is all they had in mind when they designed them. Stay away from those machines and get yourself a desktop replacement from HP or gateway if that's what you want.
The study was controlled for gender, weight and age, but mention nothing about race or social background. I wonder to what extent being tall and high earning would simply be a reflection that someone belongs to a somewhat prosperous background or had been well fed and cared for when growing up. I have seen short immigrants who, both husband and wife, stood af 5'4" yet their offspring who were born in the west stood at near 6". It's also worth mentioning that prosperity in society has led to an increase in average height over time. Europeans and Americans are considerably taller than their ancestors.
How does that fit in with the general impression, and demographic fact, that there's a certain race amongst us for whom wealth and shortness are both a stereotype and a scientific correlation.
Such race was despised and persecuted by those who admired Aryan and Nordic physical characteristics, while at the same time acknowledged, as they have been throughout history and societies, for their earning ability and financial clout.
what i'm saying is that other than being the best way to access the itunes it fails to offer anything else of value. Go over to betanews and see winamp 5, now that's a truly wonderful player. I have it running on my machine now and it's absolutely lovely. Each one of those players i mentioned is better than itunes at anything other than accessing itunes.
For someone who's not interested in buying music from itunes this software offers me very little; it's quite limited compared to many windows offerings. For example, winamp is a much better player of music, windows media player is a better organizer of files, and realone offers a lot of online content and i would argue beats itunes in terms of having that "apple" look.
It hardly offers anything new, except perhaps the AAC conversion, which is debateable whether i'd be interested in considering ogg vorbis or xvid, or even windows media 9.
gee... even Apple got over aqua! they're phasing it out of panther and switching to the aluminum look. Funny, i can predict what KDE's next look will be like!
The PSX has not priced itself out of existence, on the contrary if you look at the specs of the machine it's actually quite decently priced. Just consider that you get a PS2, a DVD burner, a 160GB or 250GB hard drive, a satelite reciever, a CD player and some other media and convenience capabilities and you'll see how well priced that machine is.
The PSX's market is not that of the gamecube or xbox, it is probably in the same market as that Microsoft is trying to occupy with its media center offerings; Just try to to assemble or buy a PC with the specs of PSX, let alone how unsightly a PC is, and see what a great job Sony has done with it!
That said though, it's almost inevitable that its price will drop, it's almost certain to be a killer machine.
First, everything is named with a letter K, then, what's with that juvenile aquafied icons look! This is almost 2004 now, we're well over the late-1990s OS X cheap clones.
i'm into open source; it got me into the habit of being thrifty with money and wasteful with time, therefore, I no longer buy stuff or have the life to use it:-p
That said, since testicles are essentially hardware, i'm curious how much you'd sell 'em to me for.

feels like an infomercial
you retard; winamp 5 is already out in beta release
since academy members have an interest in keeping piracy at bay
what's funny is that you won't be seeing those wireless camera pop-up*under ads any more, as x10 has filed for bankruptcy.
Funny how i feel like i'm gonna miss them already.
when are yu going to see a class action lawsuit against gator

that's it's one thing to be an individual downloading music and stuff, and another being a commercial entity profitting from piracy.

Such nonsense.
I don't even know why this post got a mod 5 for being "interesting"; i guess interesting nowadays means "falsifiable and plain wrong".
Linux is yet to make an impact on the desktop, let alone the xbox.
i'm curious how much "big pay" will he be getting out of this.
