Once something has been done would it take you as the creator took to create it. It really depends. Would take Intel or AMD 5 years to create a "clean room" of transmeta's code morphing technology? I would think it would take them less time maybe 2 years most 3. But you never know. It could be so complicated that it will take 5 years to recreate.
This just seems to be away for companies to start charging for time on the serves. Which there is nothing wrong with that as long as they do not over charge people.
This takes away from the Olympics it takes away the human factor. Alot of people would love to read the day to day thoughts of athletes what are they going through. People will follow the events even more so when the human element is added.

Think that is sweet. I wonder how intergrated will the Palm/OS will be in the funtion of the phone? Will you be write a program that will make a phone call or accept calls? Could I dial up into my phone and have the palm pick up send info to my computer or the other way around. If they are not careful they might have another hacker tool in the making.

My problem with blocking ports napster or anything else for that matter what i sstopping them from changing ports or better yet changing to a port that they do not want to block such as FTP HTTP Telnet DNS. Blocking will only cause them to find another way around the problem.
The guys at Troll Tech created a mozilla based off QT already. Some of the work involved has been done already. That might help speed up the process You never know

The feds want to make sure that some infomation is keep secret or is not a secret depending on who it is from. As long as we have do not know exactly what carivore does it will continued to be feared.
